  4. No bother mate, it won't do it any harm either to be mouthing a rabbit skin dummy
  5. Check along the country roads for a fresh one, skin it and nail it flesh side up on a bit of wood and cover in salt, leave for about 10 - 14 days and remove the salt. You then have a rabbit skin dummy for the price of some salt and a few nails
  6. Deer were what I had most fun hunting pre-ban, me and my friends used to travel all over for the running of them
  7. Rabbit, hare, fox and deer, some of the lads down south used to hunt wild boar as well Edited to say as above what Chart said
  8. He meant the lass not the dog
  9. No thanks needed Matt, it's what forums are for . If you were closer I'd offer you some shooting myself

  13. It's normally easier to start them lamping then on the ferreting, but once it's learnt to use it's nose there isn't much you can do to stop it

  15. Millet, it's surprising how many times that question gets asked good luck with her Bailey
  16. Keep her on the lead and only slip her when you see something, the problem lies with you using her ferreting so she knows how to use her nose
