i see the plummer topic is locked was there a reason for this? or was it locked becouse it was about plummers. seems odd when most topics on this site are discussed over and over again. and there is a power of shite wrote on most breeds yet these pages are allowed to run and run. i know its a novel idea but why not use sensible moderation and use the warning system or ban troublemakers. love them or loath them plummers are here to stay and are an integral part of the hunting scene. as a hunting forum i would have expected the mods to give a fair and balanced aproach to all sportmen a

ive seen one or two good crossbreds. why would you not want to crossbreed two good workers? and i think you will find folk have been crossbreeding plummers for a while

the plummer im fed up of seenig this dog in the country mans weekly diging rats and markink rabbits why as this dog never made a good earth dog is it maybe that its just a pup. or possibly that the fella got it for ratting. i dont lnow you tell us. why a young sappling isnt up to it. why do folk constantly keep up this dribble . unless the fella has been going on about how good an earth dog it is. and how it is off a line of ilustreus super earthdogs. you fuckers are like those witnesses that come round the doors. ramming your ideals down everyone elses throats is it so hard to

whats that in front of your dog. poor thing thats a rabbit.dispatched humanely. and used for food. you should have gone to specksavers and whats the differance in coursing a hare and a rabbit. or ferret to ground with a rabbit. compared to say a terrier to ground on a fox. humanely dispached still means an element of pain and death. people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. i only hunt rat and rabbits now. but i dont see a difference from when i was foxing. still ends up with a dead animal. and i got new specs last week. otherwise i wouldnt of seen your rabbi

that is what i like in a terrier. a stay till dug dog is to be admired. but to some they are a liability in an ideal world. i would like to own a dog that could stay till dug. when told. kill the quarry when asked. and shout out when needed. anyone got one for me no one ever sells a good working terrier. is a very broad statement and of cource is not true. ive seen some very good terriers changing hands. and for many reasons.the terrierworld is full of sweeping statements and most of them are bollocks. one of the main reasons good terriers change hands is they are owned by fannies

Think my dog is scared of the dark
Cleanspade replied to killer6's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
sounds like its been entered before its ready. dont let it have anything on top. tie it back and let it watch for a few months then try it again. show a little patience. and it may come good. -
f**k all wronf with pet and show owners. i call them allies. some are on here to show you there dog work show or pet. whats the big deal. i know terrier owners with KC. stock and i know some that keep em as pets A MASSIVE MAJORITY. of them are in favour of working dogs even if they dont want to or aent in a position to work there own.i cant see any benefit in alienating eneryone that dont work there dogs. in the grand scale of things folk that work there dogs proper are a VERY. small minority and to keep hunting we need all the allies we can get

its got a long tail, thts not a f*****g worker!!!!!!!!! Why does an earth dog need a docked tail ....There is no doubt that a bushing terrier would benafit from haveing its tail docked but there is no advantage what so ever apart from cosmetic that an out and out eath dog should have its tail docked good point. if looks dont matter why are most working terriers docked. ok i'll answer looks do matter to a degree
