dont go down that road lg,a grass is a grass, Is it true that chartpolski is a police grass? and SS as put up his true account of the lamping comp final on HU? i would have a night out with chartpolski any time,he knows to many real dog men to be the grass you say he is, I've lamped with chartpolski on many many occasions, he's spent weeks down here with me. He's certainly no grass i trust him 110% and he knows that. It's just total bollox. The folk who's spreading these rumours wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on there feckin arse, and rely on other folk to bee -

I'd put it down to a faulty cigar socket mate, it happened to me in my astra. I replaced the socket and i've had no more problems -

I'm pleased with her mate, 156 rabbits on the lamp in her first season, she's also a very good ferreting bitch mate. The only thing i havn't done with her yet is lure course but thats being sorted i took her to the non ped racing at maltby and she's started to chase the lure. She's not mad for it but she's chasing. We'll see how she gets on at the lure coursing on april the 11th i just hope it's a decent distance -

The Fawn whippet (vixen) i bred and is out of my line bred sooty sam bitch x with a nice show bred dog (fullerton and nevidith lines) i used the show bred dog as he was the correct size and is a good stamp of a dog. The bitch is excellent ferreting and lamping as well as ratting. The fawn and white bitch is from nimrodel lines and is also excellent ferreting, she hasn't done much on the lamp as she's a little younger than my bitch but we'll be out in the next few days to get her going on the lamp. She's a cracking bitch. The two whippets have been out at least twice a week ferreting si

Here's a few pics of my weak, weedy shivery whippet thats been out at least 2 full days a week ferreting throughout the season in tempretures down to -6. She's also a handy lamping dog I wouldn't be without a whippet

This is my bitch Vixen 18 months old sooty sam lines x show lines

Good to hear from someone who works a whippet, mate used to have one a few years back but it didn't fare well in the winter lamping could not cope with 30-40 runs in wet windy nights, is this normal or are yours more robust. I've never had a problem with a dog not coping with cold weather, half the problem is folk taking unfit dogs out. Mine are out ferreting in sub zero tempretures and don't sit there like shivering wrecks like some folk believe whippets do. At the end of the day rabbits and rats are the only legal quarry we can take with dogs now and on the land i work the whippet is

I work Kc registered whippets and i wouldn't work anything else on rabbits. I work mine with the ferrets and on the lamp. I'd be interested to see if a bedlington x whippet would run any better than my fawn whippet on the lamp on the rabbits, if there's any first x beddy whippet owners out there willing to go out. I'm more than willing to travel. As mentioned they are very inteligent for a pure sighthound and they have a very good nose, i wouldn't be without mine when i'm ferreting, they mark 100% and there more than capable of catching a bolting rabbit within feet of the rabbit warren..
