Yeah,he was a class all rounder,...he caught a lot of hares,and a few foxes and a few big yokes too,ferreted well when young,I was very lucky with him

I'd be just pricking about at this stage,a bit of ferreting,some woodland walks,and a bit of everything else,I've no interest in fox,if you can't eat it why bother I think,and I don't need the best of 3,type dogs,I think they'd be exciting to watch

I have a pure ,i have a half bred ...shur why not go the whole hog for a 3/4 lol...theyd be quick off the mark anyhow ,we had a good ole natter on the matter me and the lad ,I wonder if he could get a leg over now at 12 and produce enough tadpoles to create a litter,the thing i worry most about is homing pups , anyone on here ever have such a cross in the past?

it seems not only have pets become part of the family and humanised but they are going to be judged the same as humans too ,soon a dog will be up in court for shoplifting if it takes a packet of biscuits or a bone and runs home with it ,the place is gone to hell,and theres no turning back ...

I put this on the wrong section today ,just interested in opinions on the matter................ the son and i were chatting while out walking and im wondering for an ALL ROUND KNOCK ABOUT DOG ,what would ye think of a 3/4 greyhound /saluki,..NOT as a hare dog but as a practitioner of what ever the hell arises ,a bit of ferreting, lamping , run a big rabbit if it should rise before us and a few bigger bits on the rare occasion wed ever see one ,,i know some could be handy ,some shite ,it all depends on the dog itself ,but just as a bit of discussion,what ye reckon

this was supposed to go on the lurcher section,i dont know how i got it on here ...were not thinking of doing the mating ,i dont think he could manage it at 12 (bit like meself lol) but i was thinking he'd produce fast pups ,as he was no slouch himself ,and the greyhound...well ...obviously shes fast .I would like to try it but i cant work the dogs i have of late over this lockdown and before that was work,..retrieving and trainability might be an issue though,but old sonic is a very obedient dog ....until hes in chase ,then its all ears shit .it was just a discussion my lad and I had the ot

ive a 12 year old dog here ,took a bit of everything,took a variety of big and small..probably one of the better dogs ive had in the time ive kept them,i never put him down as a champion at any one thing but gave a good effort at everything ,hope i can be blessed with something similar in the future

a while back my kelpie started loosing weight,so i fed her more ,and she lost even more weight ,went to the vet and after bloods and thorough test ,he said she has a tumor in her stomach ,and if i dont put her down within the next few days she will hemorrhage within the next two weeks,he wanted 180 to do the dastardly deed,i told him i had to consult the family,i took her for her last walk and buried her ,was not easy to do,then shortly after ,i had growths taken from my pit bull,under his skin,operated on and paid near about 300,4 months later same again except the cancer was back with a veng
