we used to power wash them also but use a long handle scraper and pop off any of the stubborn ones and grinder of some form too ,cant remember what it was ...maybe an electric wire brush head ...ahh ,its steel bottom boats your doing? we were doing timber based fishing boats ,35 ft long average they were ,and in dry dock up on a stand
