  13. who watched it?I thought trevor sergant looked pathetic and unable for the R.I.S.E CAMPAIGNER.a great debate that was completely onesided.what were your thoughts on it please.
  14. Tonight on RTE 1 at 9.30 p.m.theres a PRIMETIME tv show on the debate of a hunting ban, please watch and then ring your local td's and in no uncertain terms let them know where you stand on this and where they will stand if they dont stand against it.Your vote is very valuable to them, make sure they earn your vote by reprensenting you in your fight against this bloody insane movement. The greens must go and only the voting public can do this.Stand up and be counted and dont take the attitude that it wont happen over here.
  15. have a look at theses then Impressive enough I thought.
  16. thanks clint,i got the most of it but where is the netto shop?I would be interested in a hoist like this for such small money.I will try to get the beam as strong as possible and that would take the heaviest of animals.
  17. thanks whin, thats my idea anyway, box section and the winch i bought should do the trick, was just wondering if there might be a different way of going about it.
  18. As you may know I shoot a lot of goats and before I get a mate to make a weight bareing support to hang the carcasses from has anyone got any ideas how I might make this object.Im going to bolt it on the side of a shed 8 feet high.I need A steel support to hang the bodys from.I have bought a wratchet winch and 1 ton pulley system and need something strong enough to hold very heavy animals. My elbows are fecked from draging and lifting these buggers. This would make life much easier as I am shooting the goats on an ongoing basis.I have had about 50 down this season and still not making any headwa
  19. Thanks whin and C,thats what im looking for, bloody big land there, now if you never rose a fox or anything else for that matter would ye really care, what an awesome(usa term )sight.Whin whats a peat hagg out of interest, the peat bit I know but a hagg to me is an ugly woman, lol.
  20. just looking at this and I wont comment too much on the topic as I have minimal experience with deerhound crosses but heres one dog that would have died(and did) for the oppertunity to take whatever was put in front of him,I saw him run on a few occasions over a season or two.He was absolutely nuts and was bred by Shanehound on here but was owned by another member. He took deer ,fox, and hare in vast numbers and a fair share of rabbit even though he was a very large dog.He anialated fox,the more punishment he got the more he drove on.He was an awesome dog and 100%guaranteed he would never jack
  21. heres some ground my mates deerhounds and deerhound x's work regularly, these are old pics and have been on before.Has anyone ever run on tougher terrain?

  23. Howye Roan, you know I did see molly and rebel a few times this year, but I was thinking of hillsides and real rough ground.Just wondering if there were ny brave souls that run their dogs on hard land.Ive seen Molly take a few hares on real testing ground this season, first X deerhound/greyhound.How they get going on it is a wonder but she can really move in that. The longer the course the better she gets into her hare. After reading the books again for the thousand time I just wondered if we had comparable land here in Ireland.I was thinking Kerry and Mayo and donegal might have some of that kind
