  1. Its a long way from you to me black fox but if yer about ........ you got to get in line for the roomsharing bit though, lol Langoroux thanks for the tip, does that work with all meat or just goat?It was a shame to leave the others where we shot them but impossible to get them out,the foxes will be like alsations in the next few weeks from eating the bodies. At least the lambs will be safe for a bit
  2. Sounder I eat female adult goats too, theyre nicer than venison I think.Blackfox I asked nealus(the farmer)to build on another room, but after seeing his daughter Id gladly share her room, lol.Shes a cracker of a looker The place is heaving in goats.I just got another phone call and further up the hill in another farm theres a bigger herd Im going to take a look real soon, lol. All the females were on young today so thats a bonus for the farmer.
  3. had a phone call last night from a farmer friend,he was sounding fairly desperate and asked me to come out and cull a few ferral goats. He told me there were at least 60 goats rumaging about in the top fields eating the grass.I arrived with my hunting partner and we drove into the yard. The elderly gent said hed take us to the spot that he saw them at yesterday.Up the steep hill we climbed and ahead I got that GROSS  waft of billy goat piss Up to the first ditch and there in the next field was a herd of roughly 20-30 goats, young and old.I picked a spot on the ditch and made myself comfy
  4. Right guys, thanks for that.I'll contact snapshot and ask him to work it out.Clint I took a look on the site but I was lost after 10 seconds.lol.I'll be shooting at max 100 yards or even less,Im out trying to cull ferral goats and can usually get within 60 yards of them.

  10. same with ANTG,I asked him for a product he has, sent it before I sent the money.I sent the money it never turned up.I sent it again and it took 3 weeks to get to him.He never said a word.Spot on chap he is.I bought a lurcher pup from LATT on here,it contracted parvo 3 days after I had it.He sent me another from the litter for FREE.Now who the hell would do that for ye.Ive met some great blokes off of this site.Just recieved a photo from Darcy free of charge. What more can I say.theres alot of good out there for sure.
  11. my mate has a mill made for us people and he boarded the sides and the terriers go on it when necessary, his dogs are gleaming and they are in unreal condition. When hes done with it he folds it away and sticks it back in the corner,I will again get one. With the weather the way it was for the last month over here I could have made good use of it.
  12. The mill is a great bit of equiptment, and those that say their a lazy mans way out of geting involved with his dogs are talking crap.I had 2 on the go at one stage.terriers, lurchers and bullterriers all were worked on them and they never lacked stamina and always were road walked as well. Its quiet obvious those that make silly remarks dont understand the dynamics of working a dog on a mill.
  13. you spoilt sod, lol.Thats a nice piece of work stubby and practical too.It can be handed down for many generations to come too,a family heirloom no doubt
  14. Thanks sounder, exmoocher good for you kid,and after all that time you STILL dont know yer ass from yer elbow, lol.Im amazed you have any friends at all spouting that kinda stuff.Patterdales and wheatens cant compete with each other, for the last time....THEY DO TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT JOBS......sounder im bloody worse to be replying.i wont be replying again so do your worst pal.I dont envy your job on here sounder,
  15. thats some crap, hope you get them back, how they get away with it is amazing.
  16. he he he whatever, jog on .the only way you can make yerself big is by being vulgar and insulting.Lap dog, thats funny.Carry on kid.I wont waste my time with your rubbish.
  17. I dont class a dog that draws game as going to ground,I know exactly what theyre for Ive kept 3 over the years,no I aint thick. On your views so a lurcher that draws game at the end of a dig would be classed as going to ground?
  18. He he he ,has it ever been to ground.......its not meant to goi to ground ye eejit, lol. You are showing you dont have the basic knowelege of what wheatens are for.Taffybull,I have to keep it away from them rabbit scratchings lol.
  19. heres a genuine dog thats buisy so exmoocher theres still a LOT of decent wheatens about to breed from.Cant speak for the airdale or kerry, theyre not that common these days .

  21. I lost my mk 1 while up the side of a mountain ferreting,It started pouring rain and in my haste I left it behind.8 WEEKS.......8 WEEKS it was sat up there on the grass in all kinds of weather until the farmer rang me and asked if I had lost ''some contraption''of a bright orange color.I got it back and it wouldnt work.I was gutted as I couldnt afford a new one.I ferreted the whole time without a locator and managed quiet well without it with only 1 or 2 dodgy moments.Well after 4 weeks of siting on a shelf in the kitchen I tried it again with new batteries and be jaysus it kicked back into li
  22. possibly the make of round?Or are the bullets supposed to be that weak?
  23. I have been shooting for nigh on 26 years and own a CZ .22 rimfire and a CZ .223.I was out yesterday with the .22 for a few rabbits and I shot this one rabbit and on inspection I was dumbfounded as to what I saw.I was walking up a dirt path ever so quietly and a rabbit, unaware I was approaching was sat facing me.I raised the gun and put the cross hairs on his forehead pulled and he fell over.I went to him and upon inspection I saw I had shot him straight into the mouth,Inside his mouth was the bullet, sat in the back of his throath. The amazing thing is it never went out through the back of hi
