Thanks for the offer Bush,I'm going to go with either one of the three below,I think....if you haven't gloves on in the forestry your hands get well tore up ,the welding gloves would be a bit awkward with the rifle -

Excessive thorn ,briars,I have to drag myself about a bit up banks,over ridges and use them while shooting the 223 also,..being dry isn't essential but I'd take it gladly ,lol.... -

No I'm walking in the hills and forestry,and need to use the rifle with them too,I walk in places with no paths,briars up to your bollix and broken tree parts ,you'd need hands like RoboCop and boots the same

Looking for a tough but non restrictive thorn proof pair of gloves...... any suggestions?..... I'm thinking these will be sufficient ,my last pair didn'tl last as long as I expected,......thorn resistant is the order of the day...

A hunt saboteur has been found guilty of assault by beating of an 81-year-old man after a trial at Weymouth Magistrates Court. Sad at times when you spend almost as much time with a canine hunting companion as your do your wife and family,...I've sonic here 14 years old,his hip has given in and trying to keep him warm and in good nick is a challenge,I'm not looking forward to that day when the only option will be not the one I want to accept, sorry for your loss,it's a tough ole game at times
