I take it this is more for pest control than sport,to me thats completely alien,and is a step away from real working conditions,ie the natural home of the animal.As for men working their animals at the end of the dig being classed as twats,its a bit harsh,as those men in the past created and shaped the dogs into the form they are today ....i attended the trials as a very young man,i met some of the creators and owners of the dogs ,and twats isnt the discription id give of them..

so how does this artificial earth work ,ive never came across one ,this i assume is a series of tunnels constructed of timber ? and at the end is a cage ? with what inside it? and the point of this exercise is to see which dog can get to the caged quarry the fastest ,or is it to see which dog will travel it? its a genuine enquiry ,,as ive no experience with an artificial...

they can shove it sideways ,i wouldnt give anyone that kind of money for a dog ,its the ruination of the breeds ....the working staffs years ago were sold to anyone who had the cash to be able to afford them ,those who bought hadnt the best interests of the breed at heart ,it was bought as an investment,and then pups churned out later on..and the proof is the rarity of the working staff today...theres still a few about held by breeders with the best intentions......ive met a man who has the breeds interest at heart ,i hope i can deal with him in the near future

Thanks BH ,appreciate the input ,but honestly starting around 269 sterling is WAYYYY out of my price range ...im not actually looking for a back pack anyway just a rifle sling ...im going to go with the Z aim i think ,it looks like it will suit my needs better

1st x saluki/greyhound...took plenty of both..and lots of other things too.....never found a bitch to suit him,i would have had liked a pup from him..took lots of hares,over decent runs...been a hell of a dog for me,10 years old now....and im in ireland so no problems
