and we have over 70-80 thousand of them here in Ireland ,...like winning the lottery...i got a job 3 years ago for an agency ,going about calling to halting sites ,selling the travellers electricity cards ,checking the condition off the sites and listening to the issues they had .........I LASTED 3 WEEKS ..couldnt be dealing with most of them ,there were a few that i got on well with ,but a small few ...most are incapable of being quiet or modest ,theres a family of travellers that drink in a well populated tourist spot near me ,theyve been going there for a good few years every weekend ,they

at one time my son worked sonic with a good hounds man on here ,he took a nice few foxes ,the only thing he lacked was biting power ,but he stayed till the job was done ,i dont do many foxes but when they pop up i expect a dog to take em down ,i prefer a bit of variety these days ,go for a stroll and see what i can find ,its the one thing i rarely do is pass a dog on ,i have done with one a few years ago knowing he was a good keen mutt on a variety of stuff and to this day hes still doing great things for his owner ,but i knew he had a life long home before i sent him..

He be 10 year old now,had him out today....still a determined oul soul but his pace and speed hss diminished....sadens me to watch...trying to persuade the wife to find him a place on the sofa,but it aint working .....yet!!! Lol

yeah Str,exactly the same ,he got his 1st at 16 months in company,and the next 4 over a 2 month period ,then the next he got 2 on his own ,one by accident after bolting it from a stream, it was softly softly in my view ,..he was a cur for sure...i of all people was praying he'd do well ,but there was no denying it ,he was a poor result of a fairly decent mating .

do you work with hunting dogs or just badly trained petsStr?can ye make a dog brave when he gets bit by a fox for the very first time? just asking as my young dog (16 months old on his first fox )did 5 fox with his sire ,and i made sure he took no hard ship, then on the 6th he took a bite and showed he was not up for the job ,next one he got on his own ,he took hold and the fox struck back,he screamed like a bitch ,let go and ran along side the fox barking,tried him with his sire one more time and he refused to take hold ,end of the line in my eyes ,he wasnt fast enough for hares either ,.s

I know the feeling,i bred sonic to my saluki bitch a few years back,expecting to get a decent all rounder,the dam did a bit of everything,and Sonic was above average on most things,took a good few fox in his day,a lot of hares and a lot of ferreted and bushed rabbits,and some other things like goats etc...so the pup was 3/4 saluki..he turned out a very poor offspring...put me back a lot ...its fair dissapointing when they dont reach the bar
