I was obsessed by them as a kid,used to tail them alive when ferreting,I was barefoot in a dark temple passage once and had hundreds all around me in the gloom,great stuff.

I have seen people in richmond and bushy trying to stroke and pet the deer john,these are big beasts and could do a lot of damage.

Hundreds of deer in the park mate,thousands of people walk through daily with no hassles normally,seen a jack russel being chased by a fallow several years ago,the deer have no fear of man nor beast.

Anger management problem or plain old horny?There are loads of deer in there,lived around here for years but this is the first time ones gone a little doo-lally.

A friend who works on the railways never used to stand on the dge of the platform,he told me he used to see some folks with manic or glazed looks in their eyes as they eyed up people standing close to the edge as a train or tube was rattling towards them,I think its in a lot of people.

I was in northern pakistan going to do a glacier-crossing,we had to walk along a few kilometers of goat-track and shepherds paths to reach the glacier,some of the tracks barely had room for 2 people to walk abreast with loose rock and uneasy footings,I had an almost overwhelming compulsion to push a companion over when he paused to look over the edge,I think the drop was maybe 120-150 metres at that point,a long fall into a rocky valley bottom.

Its weird,theres a little imp sitting on your shoulder whispering for you to run and jump.I was on the cable-car going up to do a tunnel-tour on Gibraltar a few weeks ago,my mate had to stand away from the edge and stare at the floor,he also couldnt look down the drop at the back of the rock.

Not scared of heights but have a horrible compulsion when standing looking over the edge of cliffs or on tall buildings rooftops to just jump and fly...
