About 10 years back a guy found a sluggish bat on the pavement a couple of miles from here,he picked it up and moved it close to the wall so it wouldnt get trod on,a couple of different people poked and prodded it before the RSPCA or similar came out to collect it,the bat was tested,it was rabid.

Wouldnt surprise me,i have seen a few shot with an airgun,they weigh next to nothing and the body is small when held in the hand.

Most dangerous drugs in any society are alcohol and tobacco,because they are legal therefor cheap,because they are addictive,and alcohol and ciggie related diseases kill off large amounts of citizens each year in society,but they are taxed to the hilt,create large amounts of funds for the government so they sold openly and not criminalised.

Put it this way,vigilante death squads now have carte blanche to kill small time drug peddlers,theres no CSI philippine Islands,its turn up,examine the body and cart it off,theres no trial,no evidence,just hearsay,suppose you dont like your neighbour.........easy way to get rid of him,tell everyone he is a shabu dealer,repeat it a few times,chinese whispers around the neighbourhood,couple of weeks later shoot him in the head from the shadows,word on the street (which you spread)is the guy used crystal meth,no ones going to look too closely into the killing,lifes cheap as are throwaway weapons.

I dont drink alcohol mate,tea only is my tipple,i bought the house over 20 years ago mate when i was based in Hong Kong and Davao was quite remote then,its got an international airport since then,Duterte Harry (after the clint eastwood character)as he is known has been having people bumped off for criminal,political and other reasons since way back long before he became el presidente,google Davao Death Squad and even that barely scratches the surface,over the years i have seen a few of his "Salvage"as the victims are known,two guys were shot near my house within the last month,one on a street

Thats the rumour local,african queen filmed in shepperton early 1950's they released them afterwards,i just along the river from shepperton and they are everywhere,seen them nesting in loads of places,if your ever in Bushy Park near hampton court theres a few nests in there every season,i have seen them shot with an airgun and seen a few caught in a mist net in a back garden,theres a cherry tree in the front street a flock of them stripped it of flowers in a few hours for some reason.

Lot of mistruths and misconceptions on this thread,i have met the guy a few times,met his fist swinging pugilistic daughter Sara as well,met them both when he was mayor of davao where i have a house and land,she is mayor there now,its not all as its portrayed.

Not sure if its true but I've heard the predator bugs ain't to keen on the 12/12 cycle and don't do so well.The preds that guy used were fine mate,they didnt totally eradicate his problem but made it more manageable,he was on his 12 cycle,halfway through the fruition stage,i always advocate the industrial fogger but my area wasnt a tent in a house.

Better remember one thing,if your going down the industrial fogger route you need to be airtight,i know a guy who let a smoker off in a bedroom,neighbours spotted the smoke and thought it might be a fire,funny old world,little mistakes like that...........

Depends on how bad your infestation is,i went into a decent sized unit once and the guy had what looked like tea-bags hung on loads of plants,hundreds of tea-bags,i thought WTF?Turns out he had a spider mite infestation,so he bought loads of predator mites,they came in what looked like tetley bags.There are clone merchants around,you phone them up and order your clones,quantity dictates price,but because of the fact their rooms have constantly changing stock and they never fully sterilise sometimes they come with unwanted visitors which are then in the rooms of the purchaser,i used to have an

Only ever saw that one with blue flecks,i was on a patch of heathland in surrey,some reptile group had scattered numbered corrugated sheeting around to do a reptile survey,i saw grass snakes,slow worms and an adder in a couple of hours.
