Two weeks, found an extinct leopard,he could hardly speak with excitement, I thought he was going to cry, lots of emotion in his voice, very good program, he even put bait and a trail cam 20 feet up a tree,he got the elusive footage after 12 days I think, the final two days he spread hair traps around the forest to try and get DNA but failed at that BUT he has vowed to go back for DNA proof.

OK, watching a program "Extinct or Alive" the premise being the presenter and crew travel the world looking to prove animals thought extinct may still be alive.The guy goes to zanzibar to search for the zanzibar leopard which is extinct, he has two weeks and 20 trail cams.Sets out sardines as bait on the ground, first night gets what looks like a cat but turns out to be a zanzibar servaline genet, never filmed before by anyone, ever. I remember chatting to an old guy who had been skating on a frozen river with a friend when he was a boy, the ice had broke and his friend had gone into the water but couldn't get back out, the old guy told me he had skated to the bank to try and get a branch or whatever to reach out, when he got back his friend was gone, they found him downstream during spring-thaw RIP the children ?

Singa pura (lion City) fantastic place, there was wild leopard in Singapore until 60? Years ago, and a wild tiger was shot in 1930.The leopard cat was believed extinct until a roadkill specimen was discovered in 2001.

I always liked rattus norwegicus and rattus rattus (seen them both) used to hand catch brown rats as a kid, I think there's a pic in my gallery of a rat up a tree?I went to the karni mata rat temple in rajasthan years ago 20,000 rats in the grounds, you had to walk through them barefoot.
