I know one person who has been,a travelling nurse,she went in a work capacity in summer so missed the bears,but she told me the place is built around wildlife watching and eco-tourism.Strange how the worlds largest land-predator doesn’t eat the dogs.

The tundra buses are in Churchill manitoba,it was $9000 CAD a person for a 5 day polar bear trip this year including the flights from Winnipeg to Churchill (no roads to Churchill),there was a report on TV about it last month as I think 400 bears were passing through or hanging about the town.

Bloke I knew from Sunderland got onto the Scottish rigs in the 1980’s,I left Sunderland late 80’s and didn’t hear from him in years till we reconnected,he had ended up in Texas working in O&G,made a few quid but had health problems as he smoked heavily and was in a pub daily.Was in a hospital for a number of months which his insurance didn’t cover,wiped him out financially,I am sure he said his stay in ICU was costing him $7000 a DAY???After his illness he wanted to return to live in Sunderland (I know Houston-Sunderland does not compute lol) but sadly he ended up passing away two years ba

Steak is steak mate,but the Americans do nice ones,only problem is they are large portions and I am not the biggest eater.Great Mexican food in California and lots of really good Italian-American diner places in NY.

No way mate,European/Brit chocolate is far superior. sadly I now find myself calling them snickers. I have been in a huge Hersheys factory here that stopped making chocolate,and was converted into a huge cannabis growing facility.

I am in Canada,Ontario but spent a few months in Orange County and LA at the beginning of the year and was in NYC for a while back in June/July.In fairness a hardware-homewear-leisure store here is pretty much the same as the states,guns and ammo in with tins of paint,Christmas trees,and food mixers.

You hadn’t taken the one you did?Or are you perfectly happy in your present industry? i tried to career-map for my kids,found what there would be a projected shortage of,something that couldn’t be mechanised,and they could expand and flourish in,one took the route one didn’t and went his own way. Would you have went the path you chose in hindsight?
