  10. Hi all, I'm suprised not to have seen any feedback or comments on here about the East Anglian Gamefair at the weekend (ok, I know it was only yesterday, but...) Anyway, I couldn't go, but I just wondered how it was; I heard on the grapevine that the lurcher classes were impressive and the judges good. Any other comments? How were the terriers?
  11. Beer! What other entertainment is there?(for wife) Thanks I know how she feels... She could go and spend your money at the stalls and buger-van. However, if anyone would like a stand (perhaps one to entertain the ladies(!), please let me know! We sometimes have kiddie stalls but because our personal experience is that we are constantly chasing the kids and then missing classes, it's minimal... besides which we want to get the kids interested in the dogs.

There are many qualifiers up for grabs including (so far): Chatsworth LurcherWorld Countryman's Weekly Earth Dog Running Dog Derbyshire Bull Cross Pride of the Peaks East Anglian NWTF Welsh Valleys Heart of Wales We're delighted that ACES will be coming to do the racing for us this year too - it'll be a marked improvement on Lee's pedal power from last year! 13. Might do, if I knew where Thorsby is... Where is it? I googled it, but it came up in Canada and that's a little too far for me!
  14. Hi, I'm no expert, but there's a complete feed out there called Fish4Dogs and it is fantastic. Also, if you are looking to add the cod liver oil to the diet to keep joints supple, there's another product out there called "Joint-Aid". It's good stuff and contains glucosamine, condroitin, and loads of other bits and pieces to keep joints healthy.
  15. I know terriers aren't lurchers, but my terriers eat raw chicken and I work on the theory that if they caught a chicken (or any meat they have the ability to catch and kill) they wouldn't take it home, cook it and take it off the bone, they'd just eat it there and then. Don't suppose lurchers are alot different. I've got a human theory on that too... You know all those meats that docs tell us are bad for us (beef and so on), well all those meats are from animals that we as humans would be very unlikely to catch and kill with our bare hands, yet chicken and fish, we can catch and kill wit
  16. Hi there Are there any shows coming up in the Essex, Kent or Suffolk areas? I know they're few and far between, but just wondered if there were any about before the season finished... Cheers

    bedding

Tatty old clothes. When they're totally ragged out, chuck 'em out, then turn out your wardrobe again! Not kidding - that's what I do! I've got loads of wardrobe space now! Must go and buy some more clothes. Same here! .. after i the dogs have had them i put them in a bags for colloctors who try to give the impression they are charity but when you read the small print you find out there in it for the buisniess. Must piss them off finding a bag of riped, minty clothes that they have to throw That's cute - I like it. They are rip off merchants! I might just do that too!

Mine's a bitsa .... dam beddie/grey x beardie/grey back to saluki/grey, sire 3/4 grey 1/4 bull, 26.5" tts.
