    The fifth Woodham Ferrers & Bicknacre Terrier, Lurcher & Ferret Show on Saturday the 12th July, judging starts at 11am. CM3 4HL for those of you with sat-nav. To us with maps, Lodge Road Playing Field, Lodge Road, Woodham Ferrers, Near Chelmsford, Essex. Loads of qualifiers - including !CHATSWORTH!, also East Anglian, NWTF, Welsh Valleys, Scottish National, Derbyshire Bull Cross and British Bull Cross, Hartington Wakes (Terrier, Lurcher & Ferret), British Ferret Club, LurcherWorld, Moorgreen and Earth Dog Running Dog & various child handlers.     Just remembered - Of my four dogs, the one with the shinest coat (almost like a mirror all year round) is the one that catches and eats his own fish - anything! If your dog can't catch her own, there's a product call Fish4Dogs - will be on the web somewhere, that might be worth a look!

    Well done - not surprised your pleased. What show was it just out of interest. Hope she'll make it to our show in Woodham Ferrers (Essex) on the 12th July! Like her breeding too - very sound. Silly question - is she "lively" or sensible? Just realised - you did say the show - Raysead wasn't it... Who was the judge? Was it a lurcher show or all "fun" classes?

    I know someone who swers by giving them tea! Never tried it myself, so can't endorse it, but his dogs are Champions!

    is ther any terrier racing? Hi there, one of our organisers is "owned a favour" by a chippy, so he's asked him to build a trap. If racing does go ahead, this will be the first year we've done it, so it won't be serious stuff. If it goes well, we hope to do it more seriously in the future. At the moment though, the showing is the thing at the show - we've got qualifiers for Chatsworth, NWTF, Bull Cross, East Anglian, Welsh Valleys, Scottish, EDRD, Hartington Wakes, etc Have you got any advice, or tricks of the trade in organising the terrier/lurcher racing?!!

    Hi all I'm a newbie on this site and have stolen the opportunity to write about our show. We started our show up to support the countryside when the hunting ban was really gaining momentum... Just wondered if anyone had ever been? We love to have feedback so we can make improvements each year, so if anyone's got anything to say about it, I'd be pleased to hear from you! Happy Hunting!
