Hey Mark Even though low 8.4 will still certainly do the biz at nominal ranges. The 100 though is capable of sending accurate lead much further than the norm Lord Stealthy, may be able to offer advice regarding the lack of power. Drop him a PM. Take care Phantom -
Nice work and a nice little piece of writing Phantom

Nice work Si And a very nice thought as well. All too often, people who do good work get very little in the way of recognition. Its nice to see people being thanked for their efforts. I know after all you and others have said about his work, I'd not hesitate to give him my custom even if the work could be done elsewhere. Phantom

Hey Bill I can certainly see some 'performance' issues arising as well as the odd personal injury claim when some idiot scratches themselves on the sharp spring. I'd also be worried about such a loose fit of the pellet and it getting damaged when loading Personally, machine marks I could live with but the rest of what you describe I'd personally be weary of ordering one of them. Stick some Macro pix up for us so we can all have a gander. Phantom

Don't care who did it, I'm just glad He/She/They got it sorted again I've been going digital cold turkey from my favourite forum Phantom

Hey Bill, Got to thinking while the forum was down about your stock Was thinking, what about naming it after the Black Labradore that Wing Commander Guy Gibson had back in the 40's? Tony

You would be amazed at how many people don't know that little gem of information. SPA for your knowledge Phantom

I've got a B2 myself Complete with delux stock Can't complain about either accuracy or power output I've not fired it since I first got it and for the money its fantasic Paid a tenner including delivery Its turning out to be a nice stock now I've finished stripping it And as mentioned earlier regarding Ratting; there is a lot to be said for lower power levels Phantom

Andy I was being TOTALLY SERIOUS buddy A Tampon is one of THE most important survival tools there is! Keep a couple in Cigar tubes If you were to suffer a deep penetrating wound; (ie, youfall on a branch or stick of some sort) you bung the tampon in to help stem the blood flow! They are Sterile when in the paper wrapper and thus makes an ideal internal compress. The second use for one is simply pull it apart and use your flint and it makes fantastic starter material for a fire Believe it or not most special forces the world over carry them in their survival kit Invaluable!

Never did it though, cuz I'd have fecked it up I see the trigger guard arrived then well done to your postie Our posties are not allowed to deliver the mail here due to the H&S implications FFS When I worked at the local sub post office we HAD to get the mail out no matter what! Ladies and Gentlemen! Bad news! This morning I found an email from the following source claiming to be from The Hunting Life. Of course as it came from an aparently trusted source I immediately clicked the link without thinking! Now every time I open a web page my AV software goes berserk and its difficult for me to remain connected This uses the same "iFrame" code that Robs site was infected with when he 1st opened it an I can only assume THL has indeed been hacked by the same fecking moron who has attacked other forum sites using the same code :censored: I've tried to bre

I have the Acme one, its supposed to be one of the best. Unfortunately, when I use it, it sounds like a demented duck taking it up the rear I just can't get the hang of it Mind you it often gets the maggies circling, never gets em down, they just circle and chatter as if saying "WTF is that row?" :11: Okay, I've just had a gander at Brocock's pumps they look pretty standard. There is a couple of ways to sort this out. Contact this firm (very friendly on the phone). http://www.airriflepump.com/ and ask them if they manufacture your particular pump, they manufacture most of the pumps and just add a manufacturers sticker such as BSA (which is on mine) if so you will be able to order the service kit (fits them all) complete with instructions (not hard to follow either) and includes the little bullet valve. Or if you want to chance it, Uttings have a complete set of seals f

OIY Git, I just choked looking at that  we need a choking icon The reason I ask is because when my Hill's pump did that it was letting the air back up the column and the valve needed a good clean then the handle stayed down at the end of the stroke
-
Hey there, Have a looksee in the for sale section, you could do a search in there and it may throw some ideas your way. Sorry I can't help further Phantom
-
Hey Bud, Where does the air appear to go? May seem like a silly question but its serious The air may be leaking out of the pilar of the pump, or the valve at the base of the pump may not be sealed correctly? What sort of pump is it? Hill's FX etc...? Does your rifle need to be cocked (if its empty it may need cocking and then the bolt sliding forward) Does the pump handle Rise up when you have finished the downward stroke? Phantom

Soon sort that out for yah fella Phantom
