  1. Not grief; I thought it was actually a very good debate I do like a good debate or two SPA Phantom
  2. I'm not sure Andy I was ill though wasn't I Remind me to drink some water next time as well as the booze, maybe then I won't suffer dehydration and may still be able be relaxed enough to shoot straight Now if you guy's are gonna pile on the pressure, I'll get my hypnotherapy relaxation cassettes out to help counter it Phantom
  3. And that my friend is entirely up to you But if someone can produce a clean humane kill; in a way that is 'different' to the way you would personally do it, does not make it wrong does it? Still at least we agree on the Biz Mags thing Phantom
  4. Is that why your shouting Andy? You after the cup as well? Guess I've got my work cut out for me this time I didn't even think about placing last year, let alone winning. Now you lot are trying to put me under pressure aint you Guess I'll have to put some practice in this time
  5. I've run them through my Baby (S200) Phantom
  6. Nope, its deffo Si explaining trajectory v gravity Phantom
  7. I disagree. I have pulled off some very unorthodox shots, but most, if not all have been good clean kills. If you know where the vitals are on your quarry and can hit them cleanly then its possible to kill the quarry instantly or as near as instantly. I have often taken spinal shots on quarry, when a full on brain shot has not been possible. I see that you are a SGC holder, how often will you get a clean brain shot when shooting ducks etc in flight? I am NOT trying to pick an argument, just pointing out that there ARE more options than just the brain to ensure a quick clean humane de
  8. Archie, Time for an avatar change don't you think? Kilts never did much for me bud Phantom
  9. Actually it follows Si's advice to the letter Phantom
  10. There was nothing wrong with that shooting. What most people forget WHEN SHOOTING UP A STEEP ANGLE you MUST aim LOW for the pellet to hit where you want to. Yes the guy did take some obviously low shots, like the one where the crosshair was on its arse. but I bet that particular shot took out the birds heart and it was dead before it hit the ground. Phantom
  11. What makes you say that? I only saw one or two that lived more than a second or so. He pulled off some startling shots. Most of which would have produced very good headshots and heart/lung shots Bloody good Marksman if you ask me Phantom
  12. Biz Mags, But it all depends on what your barrel likes
  13. I'll give you a fiver for it, Would offer more but if I put it down, I'd loose it and I'd hate to loose much more than a fiver! Phantom
  14. Bill, We dont do the sausages thing, its Hare and BOOOOOOOOZZZZZZEEEEEE lots of the stuff Don't worry about your back with all that stuff down your neck you wint feel it Phantom
  15. Yep, use one myself you can use a figure 8 mount or one of those rubber/velcro mounts. I started off using a couple of cable ties and had it under the silencer Phantom

  21. Lucky sod, weve had no mail for over a week now the mail is at the sorting office down the road, BUT the powers that be wont let the posties deliver it Fooking wusses! When I worked there, we HAD to get it out no matter what the weather was like and if we didn't do it within a certain dealdine we wound up in trouble I asked if I could go pick up my post from the PO today (I should have had a couple of cheques through on Saturday). They say NOOOOOOO, if we let one pick up the mail, then everyone else will expect the same Aparently if they have a queue of people collecting mail, then
  22. Wish someone would demo the acme one properly I had another practice today during my little break for tea The cat ran like feck, her howl and his sounded better than my attempt :11: Phantom
  23. Hi there, Aparently this gentleman will be able to help you out tony@daystate.com I don't know how old this info is, but apparently they have an email filter that requres you to verify your mail. So you send it, it sends you a mail and you confirm the mail originally came from you (or something like that) You could also register here http://www.daystateowners.com/ Sure someone there will be able to help you out Phantom
  24. Hi there With results like that at that range, you would be daft to change them. They are a superb alrounder for just about any type of shooting. Stick with em and the bunnies will drop nicely when you hit them in the cerebral matter Phantom
  25. Hey there, If nobody owns it, then its government owned. Would I shoot on it, not without permission Reason being, you would be guilty of armed trespass. I am sure that just because the land registry says they have no records of ownership; it does not mean nobody owns it. If I buy some land, its up to me to register ownership of that land with them so that no one else can claim ownership. But I am pretty sure its not actually a legal requirement to register ownership of land. As always I am open to correction on this Phantom
