I woke up this morning and checked my phone just to be sure Si did ring me last night and then I checked my emails because I was wondering if I had actually been asleep and that this is not just a dream dream! I shall treasure it as much, no MORE than my Baby S200 I was virtually unable to talk to Si and Laura last night, due to the shock; I'm still in shock Phantom

Nah, his lass does it to stop him falling out :11: -
Hey John you jammy little git My best advice is to take on board what Si (Zini) says about shooting at angles up/down hill. Watch his video on this thread : http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/154950-steep-incline-shooting-from-a-hide-tip/page__p__1565151__hl__incline__fromsearch__1#entry1565151 Followed by this thread and have a gander at the site mentioned. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/155177-shooting-on-an-incline/page__p__1567398__hl__incline__fromsearch__1#entry1567398 ~The threads compliment each other perfectly if your a visual learner, the l

Do you know where abouts its clipping? If so then shim the other side, using either tin foil, paper or perhaps a stip of fine acetate? Or better still is that silencer designed for your particular barrel, perhaps there is one that will fit better? Phantom

Seconded and another SPA. If only I had some transport to your farm The cold is gonna draw them in for miles around (from what I gather reading this book from Archie!). If thats what its like in October, your gonna need Phantom

Si, Laura! I am still virtually speechless Having spoken to you guy's on the phone earlier; I had to go take a walk to let the enormity of this sink in Other than 'I am not worthy of such a gift' I can only say a HUGE THANK YOU!!! to you BOTH To say I am somewhat overwhelmed is a MAJOR understatement! Love to you both :friends: Tony

awwwww poor old bloke He said that he was punching and kicking him and they were going to attack him, sorry but in my book if they punched him and kicked him they were attacking him. And I wonder why they were doing this? Perhaps because he wasn't going to replace, repair or refund for faulty goods? :wankerzo4: Phantom

Hi Andy, Three of my 5 permissions are all on the same little Island of land. There is only a fence between them, so if its not already on the other two it will be very soon. It will make my work on the cemetery and in bunny land easier as they are both clearance jobs; but the big paddock is only a control job, so not everyone needs to be destroyed just limited and I just try to limit the numbers that are trying to repopulate the cemy so I try to keep them out of the cemetery as much as I can as thats where all the financial damage is being done; as well as the danger of falling monuments an

Thank you Sean, yes he's a hell of a good guy Smithie; I think the offical figures by the government white coats and test tubes are what Matt is reffering to Rabbits are deffinately on the increase again and this is down to a few factors including developing a natural resistance to the disease. Nature huh? Just cant beat Nature Phantom

Thank you gentlemen I know that more and more bunnies are surviving Myxie these days, where the populus has been hit many times over the years. I didn't know that this one had Myxie until I went to recover it, I could only determine that it was a good size and I could only see the ear tot he base of it so it was down to my practiced shooting skills to judge where the POA should be. What I am worried about though, is if this is the 1st time its been seen on this section of land, its likely they local populus will not have any form of immunity to it and its going to be devastating

Looks like a nice bit of kit but.......... However one of the most respected and best Marksmen on here did similar and regretted it in a matter of a few shots! Could have been just the one rifle perhaps? I'm sure Si (Zini) will be along in a day or so to tell you of his experiance. Phantom

As some of you know this last couple of weeks has seen me almost in tears, what with the divorce etc.... and most recently my beloved Air Arms S200 developing a leak on the air cylinder being the lowpoint! Well a gentleman and fellow Hunter by the name of Dom (Redeye Jedi) helped come to my rescue, offering me the loan of an air cylinder for a couple of weeks, I sadly had to decline such an amazing offer. So....... being the gent and ledgend that he is (in my eyes) made me up a special tool to remove the front part of the air cylinder, so that I could then access the O-ring that needed rep

Welcome Roger It seems like its about time someone actually did take action against these morons I am very thankfull to people on here who share their experiances with comapnies, as it gives us a "Heads up" as to who we can and can not trust out there I'm glad they folded and gave you, your money back I dont think that after this kind of publicity among shooters, they will remain in business for too long Perhaps its time you guy's joined other forums to spread the word? Callum, Firstly a PCP is actually much louder than a springer Unless its silenced (or more correctly moderated). When shooting either a Springer or a PCP you have to be "Down Range" of the Muzzle to appreciate the differance When shooting a silenced or moderated PCP; you are more likely to hear the click, or clink of the hammer against the valve that is transferred through the stock to your ear, than you are to hear the crack from the muzzle blast. The loudest part is the crack of pellet against skull. If you are shooting a Springer that has been silenced; you will hear the

I use a BSA pump (cuz I'm a posh pumper) But take off the BSA Label and its an Ernest Hill's MK2 Pump I filled my S200 Air cylinder 5 times today from Zero to 200 bar! :showoff: And I'm gonna do it again shortly am I nuts, sadistic or what? :11: I'll explain in a new post later this evening when I've stopped replying to all these new threads It was not that hard at all whoever says its hard work is either a total fecking wimp; is totally unfit or has never acutually done it :tongue4: Trust me I'm not exactly the peak of fitness either Phantom

Excellent If they refuse it, it goes against them, If they accept it and dont respond they're fecked I'd still give Police a call, if they are sending stuff directly to the customer, they are commiting a criminal offence. And I bet you a pound to a penny that D.H.L, don't have a clue what they are carrying. Can you tell I'm in a WICKED Angry mood tonight? Youll see why when I get my post done Phantom
-
Hope you sent it Recorded Delivery Not only does it scream bad news, but it goes against them if they refuse it Trust me I know my way around these things! I have taken on many a retailer Usually the threat of T.S. gets me what I want especially when I say "Well, in that case Sir; I'm gonna have a walk down Hessle Road now, I'll see you in court!" It's usally "Whats down Hessle Road?" to which I respond, "Oh my brother is a Senior Investigation Officer For Hull area Trading Standards, Their office on Hessle Road!" But I have actually taken the odd company to court as well a

Actually, I have BIG no, sorry HUGE THANKS for Dom Post to follow soon Phantom

I would suggest that the Police have a close inspection of their RFD Ticket myself Just like the Inland Revenue did when I told them of my employer! They said "Pardon? we have them as a cleaning company, I replied, "Yes I know and the Security Industry Authority say they don't have a License to operate either" (but then I am an evil b@stard at heart ) Phantom

Must admit, I've not shot one, however I have heard good thing about the Air Magnum But for the price, I would happily go down the Pre Charge Route rather than spend a fortune on Co2 bottles. For that price you could pick up one of the most accurate (designed for international standard competition but powered up for the UK hunting market) Air Arms S200. <================{{{{{{{{{{{ Look left :11: Co2 is fantastic for pistols and rifles, but PCP rules the roost Phantom
