  3. Horses for courses I prefer a 3/8 for all round work and have one here fast enough and enough wind for anything For heavy work and pure fox work 3/4 times a week, when you were allowed preban ,1/2 x comes into its own and nothing equals it well that's my view

  6. Ive often thought over this ,being a night feeder ,then when im out 3/4 times a week feeding them after lamping ,i think i might just change to morning feeds completely ,plus must be better for keeping weight off dogs in summer when their not out as their active more in through day than sleeping through night
  7. my keeper so 42 in one field on the lamp.i walked it two days later and got one retrieve. They are there.but where is the question. I know a place with a similar picture Snoop, drive through at night and we'll stop counting as there are too many either side of the vehicle, walk it by day and you'd be doing well if you seen one or two! What i've noticed over the past few years, this year especially, is how much hares are sitting in woodland by day, rather than out in open ground. In areas that always had them well out all day, I now watch 'em start moving by dusk, out from heavy covered wo

  11. Army bags are ok but with nicknames like bouching bomb etc are rather large in size and weight ,and watch out for sticky socks in inside pockets Go on cotswoldoutdoor.com some of the mountaineering bags are lightweight and mega warm ,get yourself a little travel pillow and inflatable ground mat and you will never want to get out of your maggot

  17. if you buy the birdseye for your alpha i think you can download maps from the whole world with your computer i think like on google earthview Thank you, i'll look into it The TOPO maps are better than the birdseye. My mate paid for the birdseye and I got the TOPO from ebay its on an SD card and it has much better detail. You can zoom in and out and it even shows if your dog is running or sitting. You can zoom in and see the dog going from side to side (marking holes). Its a cracking bit of kit. the birds eye are much better than TOPO. The birds eye are just that like goggle earth .zoom
