i use a white ex rat bait bucket for carrying about most of my trapping gear , sanded down and sprayed with matt black paint , its due for a respray after about 6 years, i don,t think the cammo tape will last long in wet conditions, i also have a 25ltr bucket i sit on for decoying , just splashed different coloured paints allover it and hardly any has pealed off

im absolutly gutted that you gave up , just when it was all coming together, the first place i look at when i switch on this damned computer is this thread on this site, what can i do with my spare time now?...............fishing

look at peggy,s snare , see how its fenced in , that mink has nowhere to go , but put its head in that wire, then look at your own wire , see how much space there is around it, like i said , FENCE THE f****r IN chalkie, do you want me to send you a snare to hang yourself? :11:

don,t you like to make life difficult ? you can make that mink go where you want it too , you can make it stop, jump , dip its head , just about anything but somersault, all with a bit of correct fencing , mink are totally fearless of just about everything, no amount of fencing will stop it trying to get thru that hole.even try putting that bloody drainage pipe there, i,m off for a rest now , this cyber mink snareing is hard work :showoff:

listen shitty , i,m only saying this one more time ,fence the f****r in so he has nowhere to go, so he cannot fail to put his neck in that wire, the snare in the last pic wants to have the lock at about 1 oclock so that the wind or a rat or summat cannot set the snare running , you also seem to have a fair bit of spare wire above the hole , or is it just the angle you are taking the pic from.

like i said , its bin jumping thru, and the wires bin pulling around its body as it goes , then he wriggles thru the loop till only its tails left to pull the loop almost shut, it happens with rabbits and foxes too , loop too big and not set high enuff.

totally agree about woodga being a good bloke, he,s the type of lad you can rely on 100%, he,s helped me out a few times , what a good mate...right thats enough of being nice , i must wear a hat tommorow in all this heat, its affecting me try reducing the size of your loop and fencing the run in a bit, it sound like ole minky is jumping thru :whistle:

A lot of copy metal work is made in China, and to be honest the quality is shite. I know this because I deal in office furniture and the Chinese copy metal filing cabinets ect and its shite. I wont sell it because I know that all I will get is hassle when it gos wrong. Sure its cheap, but I dont need the worry.
