  1. rats have to drink every day, so it could be worth looking at liquid baits if they don,t have access to water in the loft space ,have you tried block baits nailed to a beam , as they have to sit and eat it, its so difficult giving advice without seeing the problem, its best to let a pro have a look, if they are not taking the bait they musty be eating somewhere, bird feeders are usually the first place to look , followed by bins and compost heaps ,they can access by climing up trees and bushes, any pro could probably suss it out straight away, i would try a local firm or council, recommended b
  2. i think he does trap fisher, but the set up you are on about is for marten i however catch trout in my bodygrips had another white mole today, peggy,and one with a white spot on its head and a white v shape on its belly, had a mole in one end and a weasel in the other last week, isn,t mole catching exiting when you send me my free vid , i will give it a review , as a professional trapper and general good egg :friends:

  6. i,v shot hundreds over the years , i used to poison moles about 20 years ago and carried a folding 20 bore just for shooting moles that were working, now i just trap and find it more effective , so no need for the gun,i still shoot an odd one when i,m out and about.

  8. now you shouldn,t be talking money between mates , if i don,t get a free copy i,m gonna invoice woodga for all the tuition i gave him on professsional ferreting a couple of weeks ago and the rescue and recovery of his prize ferret complete with full working collar,, man i,m good i suppose he did throw himself on the floor and use his big belly as a landing mat when i tipped the quad, however i used my big head as a buffer to stop my shotty hitting him when it fell of the rack i still want a freebee

  11. ye common, bobo , money wher ya mouth is , you got some proving to do , to better these two lads, i know ,i tried. i have never seen anyone concentrate so much when they are setting snares as peggy, and every one is exactly the same , thats called being a professional, i,ll give credit where its due , his molecatching is crap by the way.

  13. i have a collie/grey x collie /grey , hancock / typp ratcher breed , i got her given at 5 months , she,s 2 1/2 now and has had her first full season last year , not too much but plenty , for lamping and ferreting , she is probably the best dog i have owned, marks true 100% , works with and respects the nets and is focused on her job ,she is certainly not a hare dog , she hasn,t had a fox or deer (cos its illegal ) she don,t look like much , but i wouldnt take 10 grand for her, i,ll try and get one of the lads to put a pic up cos i,m not clever enough. also have a whippet / collie but at
  14. i us my hand or a brass disc on still nights and a primus cottontail distress on windy nights and for distance , just ask peggy , we have had a good few with one, any time of year, calling is like anything else , the more you practice the better you get , cubs are good to practice on and it gives you confidence in your kit
