  1. used too stay up when i was a kid just too watch him.he was a rebel but a lovable rogue who brought the game of snooker alive.remember when he won the final in 1982 i think and got his little girl out of the crowd for a hug.REST IN PEACE FELLA. in the final 1982 against Steve Davis after the first session Alex Higgins was 10-0 down and the bookies had him at 100-1 to win which famously he did Y.I.S Leeview
  2. Keep your nose clean and this will be your first step up to building your permission Y.I.S Leeview
  3. Some of the advice on general care and treatment of disease ON HERE is pretty dodgy. Typical droid answer never mentioned "care and treatment of disease" Y.I.S Leeview
  4. OK btn you have had sound advice and invites of of here Do you think you could of gained equally as sound advice on working them on a pet ferret forum Y.I.S Leeview
  5. why only enter 1 ferret at a time? Y.I.S Leeview two reasons, firstly it was a very hot day, therefore didnt want to take more than two ferts out in that heat, it was more of a "keeping my permission" day by ferreting the owners garden, than a proper ferreting trip, and secondly, although the jill was'ent in season, the hob certainly was, so again, only put them in singularly "firstly it was a very hot day" above ground but it would of been a lot cooler underground secondly:why not take 2hobs or 2 jills that culd be worked together? 6. as an example, a permission owner I have asked me to ferret his victorian wall garden, I took an out of season jill, and a large hob, using the jill first, I ran her through the first warren four times, at this point the warren looked and sounded empty, there was no beating/thumping of rabbits back feet like normal, I boxed her up, and as it was a hot day, decieded to let "ted" have a quick run to cool down, within seconds of putting him down, three rabbits bolted into the longnet I'd seriously question the jills ability if a hob can shift rabbits within seconds of putting him down and she

  11. Totally agree.I am amazed the number of well bred lurcher to lurcher pups about and people still want to breed off track greyhound bitches then again its all ££££££. A good place to start though if your after a genuine firstX collie or saluki IMHO Y.I.S Leeview
  12. I've never seen one, touched one or bred one so its not well known to myself but you have had it confirmed by breeders, as for shedding coat prior to whelping thats what my jills do dont yours? Y.I.S Leeview I would be suprised if a stinker didn't shed and pluck its fur before having a litter, and assumed that angoras would also. I don't think it has any bearing on their ability to feed the young, though. They just can't produce enough milk to do the job. As I understood it shedding coat was to enable the kits to be able to find the nipples I cant see why a long haired animal can

  14. They can't suckle their young full stop... The milk dries up after a few days. They also lack the normal ferrets double coat, so they cant be kept in the same manner as a normal ferret, and need grooming on a daily basis as they can't clean themselves properly. A pointless fecking animal.. lol why are they not extinct then??? my mate breeds them with no problems whatsoever got some on now @ £ each stupid people pay stupid prices It is well known that the full angora strain can not suckle their young. To raise angora kits from an angoraXangora mating you must take the kits

  21. I personally wouldn't consider breeding till the/a bitch was nearer 7 unless retired early through injury that was nt heriditary. at 5yrs what have you had out of the bitch 3seasons work(I dont include the first season as she'd be learning)so by 5 she would be in her prime work wise and barring injury should carry on for another couple of seasons before you notice a decline and by this time you should be able to decide wether she's been good enough to breed from unfortunately not all bitches and dogs do turn out good enough to be bred from Y.I.S Leeview
  22. Gnasher16 your inbox is nt taking any messages Y.I.S Leeview
