    best thing to do is BAN THE KC REG DOGS and get back to working dogs more fun for THE TRUE HUNTING MAN The one thing everyone appears to agree on is that the KC registered dogs are whippets. The dispute appears over which of the non KC registered dogs are whippets. If the KC dogs were banned the disputes are likely to continue.     Have you ever actually seen a dog/ferret infected with CD or parvo? Or a jill with advanced aplastic anaemia? It's not a pretty sight and they aren't make believe conditions found in a book! Other animals are brought out of season via injections, dogs & cats are brought out of season with the same hormone regulators as ferrets are. Vaccines are advised to prevent illness/disease as prevention is better than cure, exactly the same principle of using hormone regulators in jills...to prevent aplastic anema/pyometra rather than treating the conditions after they have developed.     So why have I never experienced these life shortening illnesses if you claim this is what does happen? Have I just had healthy well looked after ferrets fed on flesh for all these years that dont contract these diseases.If you claim to look after your ferrets this well where did you get all this experience of these diseases/illness's from? You run a rescue so what is your interest in breeding? surely you get plenty handed in without having to breed them yourself?     OK they spoke to someone over the phone about 2 ferrets with no tails it showed them going to collect them from the guy but never showed these tail less ferrets Why? Like elmer fudd I've never known a ferret eat its/or another ferrets tail. Have you? I have seen and had ferrets with no tails and always the result of folk keeping ferrets together and letting siblings mate each other resulting in the whole litter being born without tails Probably sounds better to these people that these ferrets have eaten their tails?     I was just kidding about the birth certificates for the original 6 EU's he imported 17 years ago.. i was joking, but he has got all the documentation on deportation and so on.. We keep documentation in a form of a certificate,IS THIS WHAT IS KNOWN AS A PEDIGREE? we do have called them birth certificates since i can remember, just because there a document on the kits birth for example, hob, jill the kit came from.
