cheers mate thats great do you only feed the head of the rabbit do you not feed anything else ? so a pigeon a day between too and always a supply or dey food ? Dry food isnt that good or cheap so I and other posters dont give it in preference to meat, just like they would get themselves in the wild Y.I.s Leeview

Its possible but a vet would be the one to ask. What is certain if it was CD the whole lot of their ferrets would be wiped out not just a few Y.I.S Leeview

On facebook you posted symptons of what to look for in CD. that ferret has neither matted eyes or a mucus discharge from its nose, put up the link to this diagnose for all to see Y.I.S Leeview Ok I'll give you the benefit of doubt over education and experience So you posted that the ferret in the picture was diagnosed with CDV I doubted it as its not showing the typical signs you mention ie matted eyes and runny nose So this is where the education comes in Where was it diagnosed and by which vet? Straight question no waffling you posted it had been diagnosed ? or once again not

If im using purse nets I expect the nets to purse to catch the rabbits, longnets tangle the rabbits up to hold them and I've yet to see a rabbit snared in a net no matter what size or weight. I do agree any net less than 3'6" is nt worth bothering with and make my own 4'6"long by 18meshes wide was always told "you can put a big net on a little hole but you cant put a little net on a big hole" Y.I.S Leeview

whats wrong with that ferret is for a vet to diagnose, it has no mucus coming from its nose, its eyes are not matted up both clear signs of CD in any animal that can get CD Y.I.S Leeview

18 months ago the pet ferret brigade were spouting this rubbish about an outbreak of CD and ferrets were dying all over the country in rescues,ferret shows were cancelled it was that serious several owners had there ferrets byopsyed but reports were inconclusive as to actual cause of death? IF it had of been CD all their ferrets would of had signs of it as it is an airborne virus and does nt need contact to spread As Malt said why does it only happen to rescues? Where dozens of ferrets are kept in close proximity to one another I have never lost a ferret to CD and dont know anyone who has
