Appeal! If you have any spare pies, send them to Blackburn, which is currently suffering a pie shortage of monumental proportions.
  6. I reckon you're bang on there, mate. With a lot of trees, the harder you cut them back, the thicker and quicker they grow.....
  7. Haven't heard that old chestnut in years!
  8. Honda VTR 165mph, sub 3 sec 0-60. Without turbos or dump valves. Bugger all use for taking dogs out though......

    best beer

Dunno 'bout that mate. Deuchars 60shilling and that Dark Island stuff from Orkney are pretty palatable.....
  10. Good for him. Though it's about time he played up to his potential....
  11. 16lb Not too impressive, but it was teased out of the Riddings Match pool on 4lb bottom and a rod that is best described as a light bream rod. Took 10 minutes to get out, I was cacking myself waiting for the 'TWANG' and a feeder flying past my ears for the whole time, and after it was weighed and put back I had to have a ciggy and a little wander to calm down.....
  12. What's this addiction with silvers?
  13. I know the feeling, Mark.... If feeder fishing don't do it, I'm struggling
  14. Hope so, off to Sheepy Lake (Sheepy Magna) on Saturday after my shift.... wheres that? Sheepy Magna. About 6 miles east of Tamworth. Well, Sheepy Parva really, but they're only a few hundred yards apart. Not going now.....too bloody windy, be off to somewhere with a windbreak.....
  15. Any chance of 'Strong Stuff' Y-fronts?
  16. With all due respect to stubby...... No, I was a mod on Ferrets Forum, but resigned. I'm still admin on Flaming Ferret. I've not ferretted, ever. And I've been totally honest about that, on several occasions on here. I'm interested in hunting. That doesn't mean I actually have to do any. Bit like being interested in space travel, or Everest expeditions What's my reason for leaving teaching got to do with owt? (It was stress...... ) Hope that helps Sean, till the next time you want to have a sly dig.....

    That's a very good sentiment.

  19. Haven't a clue Sean. That, of course using your logic, means that Waardenburg's doesn't exist. Except that it's pretty universal in the mammal group. Including humans..... But ferrets are obviously special. Especially if you've bred a few with the symptoms for your Showing, eh Sean? Good job Right to Reply #2 was deleted, and your nonsense there with it. For those who don't know, R2R was a pet ferret forum frequented by Sean, and run by a woman who's main hobby was making fluffy ferrets.....
  20. Here we go. You're not going to start claiming it's a contageous viral disease again, are you?
  21. Not a good idea. The drain goes into the storm drain and straight into the local watercourse/lake/pond. Bung it down a sewer. Gets treated that way.
  22. Could get anything, including problems. Google 'Waardenbergs Syndrome'.
  23. Lets just revive this one. OK so the next 3 months it's going to be Commys but so what? Anyone interested?
