  5. I wonder who they robbed that off.................................. :whistling: cheeky fecker, were not all thieving c...s some of us take great pride in breeding our OWN animals some of which are very good dogs, this is my pup bred by my cousin beddy whippet x saluki greyhound, believe it or not he bred the dam and paid good money for the sire didnt have to robb anyone.

  10. what do you think the outcome wouldve bin if it had been an older trained lamping dog,i think even a bull x would have its work cut out.
  11. in the old days? its 2008 and we are now civilised enough to have things called a 'v e t' thats VET we dont have clubs and have to skin animals to eat i have a club and skin and eat animals i even leave the odd jill in season with no ill effects,a match made in heaven eh jojo lol
  12. Price will vary from vet to vet That pic of yours kay is disturbing lol even more disturbing is the fact that its a 10lb baby and thats kays hand lol
  13. i know what your saying mate, there are badgers now in places i can never remember them being, having lived in the area all my life and im not just talking a few.a five minuite walk into the woods and its badger city and guaranteed you see at least 1 or 2 a week run over round the lanes.
  14. i have found exactly the same thing the last few nights out.training the pup and giving the greyhound the odd outing for ferret food.more badgers than i have seen for a long long time.the pup even came nose to nose with one on investigating a hedge row luckily only a young one and they both backed off.dread to think what could have happend.
  15. ffs, why does everyone suggest killing everything? 1 eye makes no difference too true, Ive got something with only one eye, and it works great What with Kay making jokes about your 'chopper', and now you're at it, when are you going to rename this section 'Carry on Ferreting?' I don't think having one eye will harm a ferret in the slightest. You may get a few more nips, if it don't see your hand coming though. my one eyed beast enjoys being taken by surprise by my or anybody elses hand
  16. dawnraider i had a similar bitch a few years back 55lb 10 out 10 bunnies on lamp & retreived also out of steam after that though ran her on hare aswell last about 1 min got the odd one but alas the rough ground got the better of her she smashed her leg gud luck wit your one cheers mate,i have only had her out 2-3hours tops each night we go out on the lamp so far and she runs as hard on the last as she does the first but i dont think she would have the stamina for much more, fingers crossed her feet and legs are holding up well.
  17. after 2 months of work my 2 year old failed racer is now an out n out field dog.from not even knowing her name she now works the lamp retrieves live to hand and has a perfect recall her only fault so far is she refuses to jump ,no matter how high any suggestions appreciated.
  18. beddy whippet x saluki greyhound small and sharp and holds no fear of rough cover,6 months and showing great promise
  19. great pics kay, nice nails too grrrrr lol, thats about the colour of my darker kits the outhers are much lighter.
  20. my litter are 16 days old and doing well,on inspection the majority are a silver grey, the jill is a dark polecate and the hobb a real nice white.do you think the kits will keep this silvery colour or will they develope into the more common polecat colouration, there are two in the litter with darker fur and three milky white.will try for some pics tomorrow as i have only just started to open the nest door to take a sneaky look.
