just back from the vet after having his cast changed,now a lovely shade of green.thanks for the replies people i am sure he will be a1 soon enough

whilst out lamping sunday night i get a call from the old woman,my new pup 9 weeks old has tried to get over his gate and broken his leg got straight home and back out to the vet.the phone call the next day bought some relief,a minor fracture to his front right leg just below his elbow joint,the vet says it is a very clean and straight fracture which will heal very nicely and did not need pins or a plate just a shoulder to toe cast for 6 weeks and he could not see any probs in the future with him working.get home today and his foot is swolen so back to the vet,the cast is too tight and has to

We're up and out int morning 6 ish. My boy is six nearly seven and we are going pugging with his Whippet/Greyhound and my Bull x, we fished today then went for a walk with the gun late afternoon and shot a phesant and two maggi's, he is on it lol i think thats the only time my boy stays still for more than 5 mins when hes got a rod n line out,and as quiet as a mouse when ferreting,heres a pic with his first kill. nice pik mate he looks well pleased .mine wont stay still fishing just wants to cast all the time and it winds me up lol mine just aint got the hang of striking,they nor

know exactly where your coming from smashy,my boy is almost as hooked as me,likes nothing better than a couple of hours out bashing a few bunnies.he has been promised his own dog next year and knows exactly what he wants.

cheers mate right can of worms that ,reason i ask is that my new pup is sopposed to have NL in his breeding,seen a pic of the supposed dog and from what you have just shown me it looks the part and works very well but they seem to get there name from the look rather than breeding

my nan had a jrt that used to sit at the top of the stairs outside her sewing room,after it died my dad bought her another,as the new dog got older she noticed whilst in her room making her dresses it would come up the stairs and go out of its way to go round the spot where the old dog used to lay and at night she would swear that it sometimes felt like two dogs laying at the foot of her bed instead of one

had an hour out last night working on recall which has slipped since he started catching more regulaly,it was dark but still very still.had a marked improvement on the recall and came back with these,2 of the 4 he managed to retrieve but the outher 2 were left for me to fetch still an improvement though and very pleased with the way he is coming on never seen a rabbits tail like this though with a whits stripe thrugh it.
