Right click the avg icon,go into "test cetre" then "scheduler" disable the automatic scan. This won't stop it from doing the "auto updates" it will just stop the scan running everyday.
  3. If mine are going out,i split the main meal into two.I also never give mine any food,5 hours before and 5 after.
  4. On and off since saturday evening.Ground is saturated, and most of my main bit of permission is under water.Started digging footings for a conservatory yesterday morning and had to abandon it.Looks like a week of arse scratching for me,as the forecast is more of the same.
  5. Lot of stuff been written about these dogs in EDRD.
  6. Pointer,Evening Primrose Oil is a very good natural remedy for Hormone problems.Over the last ten years even GP's have recommended it to women suffering with PMT,and painfull periods. It has been used to treat many conditions over the years, don't under estimate its potency because its a "supplement". My terrier bitch was constantly losing hair around her back end.A bold patch about 2 to 3 inches long would appear, slowly grow back then reappear the other side.Vets said it could be Flea's,hormone's,allergy, etc etc. I wasn't happy about giving her the steroids they'd prescribed,so tried to find a
  7. Certain file formats are too large for uploading.Do you know what format they are ?
  8. Each to there own,but i cannot fault my Beddyxwhippet. We got her purely for ferreting and mooching, and she hasn't let us down.Been out with the ferts since 6 months of age,and been given some easy slips on the lamp over the last 6 weeks (shes just coming up 12 months of age) She never makes a sound, does exactly what she's told, and seems to have a sixth sense, where the bolters are concerned. She's very quiet and very good natured, but a different dog altogether once in the field, and will think nothing of crashing into cover to get her quarry.
  9. Well done mate, nice pics,by the way that blue hair don't suit you Bill
  10. Depending how bad the cuts are you may need to staple or super glue them,if your not sure then vets.I use this on all my dogs, excellent stuff.
  11. "come here fox" "come in fox" ?
  12. Was it that "shitty forest" you were sleeping in.
  13. Seen some weird shit when out lamping on my jones. One time i was shooting on a golf course,i thought someone was running twards me,turns out it was the flag o the 7th green blowing in the wind also seen the eyes that are miles off the floor carry on.must be honest,i like going with someone else rather than on my own.Trouble in the pub,i'm yer man, weired things when out lamping,i'm gone
  14. This thread has caused rifts and arguments between longstanding members,it has also led to the leaving of a member, who i personally consider to be a worthwhile and knowledgeable contributor to forum discussions.I paid my money out of free personal choice, had it been a compulsory requirement to enable use of the forum,i would not have done so.There are elderly and teenage members of the forum, who sadly may not have a "spare" fiver to donate, should we bar them from the forum?ABSOLUTELY NOT!! This whole topic does not sit well with me,and i hope the mods see sense, and delete this and any other s

    lamb bones

Two days a week my dogs get lamb bones and nothing else.I give mine necks and ribs, and like you say they have a fair bit of flesh/fat left on them.Cleaning the shit up next day is a pleasure little dry white nuggets ,dont even need a bag or a shovel.
  16. One 500mg Evening Primrose Oil capsule every other day.
  17. £50 is reasonably cheap.I phoned 10 or 15 vets and £50 was the cheapest. As for the PDSA,i think they are quoting for castration, not vasectomisation.
  18. A repeat i know,but if you haven't seen it,its well worth watching.
  19. Might be colitis mate, one of my lurchers has had it a couple of times.Someone on here sent me some info on it,and it turned out to be spot on.Try googling it and see what comes up.
  20. Cheers Joe,nice to hear someone say something positive about Beddy x's for a change.
  21. Ive a beddyxwhippet that is silent night and day,so that blows the "all beddy x's are yappers" theory out the water.Seems to be fashionable of late to slate beddy x's,well i'm happy with mine. Opening up usually manifest's itself in young dogs, and i personally think it is a frustration thing. Some dogs do grow out of it,but some just never stop.I would try giving the dog easier runs for a while and see if this help's.My old man always reckoned that if a dog was started to early this would contribute to the yapping,as the dog wouldn't have the brains or the speed to do the job right, and would t
  22. Playing golf, and it comes in handy when trying to get permission.I have permission on a couple of course's,that i got through playing.
  23. Ahem Now a fully fledged member of the hunting life club Thanks Bill Moll. Oops Sorry Moll.I forgot to say ladies as well.Thats me and mine all signed up as well.
  24. I have two very good dogs here, one came from this site, and another from a different site. Not everyone selling dogs is a money grabbing parasite,BUT A LOT ARE! Do a simple bit of searching with some forum users, and they only post when they are selling, then gone till the next litter arrives.I say GET THEM GONE!,FFS everytime theres a "Hancocks" thread or a "Nuttal" thread people are queing up to slate them, yet we allow people to come on the site and peddle SHITE.Theres a lot of youngsters using the site now,and these are the sort that could be screwed, and put off dogs for life, should they buy so
