EXPERT not me john.What i can tell you is this.A .22 pellet fired from a sub 12ftlb gun,and zero'ed at 30 yards will in fact be travelling in an arc (but i'm sure you know this already) in effect,you will be shooting over the target,and the pellet will on its descent strike the point of zero,BUT just in case you don't know,it will in fact cross the "point of zero" twice,on the way up,and again on the way down,this will be roughly 10yds,and again at 30yds (am i making sense?) hope this kind of answers your question.Bill

Spot on mate,well worded,and i can tell you've been on the bbs.If you have a look,youll find your German friend only posts in the "general chat" section,funny that eh? surely if you visted a gun site,it would be to talk guns. You'll find this place a lot less cliquey,still plenty of slagging and banter,but no clique.

Just been listening to Radio 1 in the car,apparently they banned the word "faggot" from the line of the song.They played the song,but had censored it,by removing the word from the line "you scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot" F*****g P.C gone berserk ,and these c***s take money off me for a tv licence They have now allowed the song to be played in full,after a record number of complaints about there "censorship" of the lyrics.Even gay rights groups were asking why the word had been deemed offensive.

A medium weight .22 pellet (16gr) fired from a 12ftlb rifle thats putting out (for arguments sake) 11.5 ftlb,will have dropped 17 inches after 50 yards.While i was exagerating "saying 4 feet" it'll be well over 2 feet of drop at 68 yards. An average height man (5,9) will walk a yard when taking a large stride.If anyone is confident they can hit a 10p coin,at 68 yards with a sub 12ftlb,.22 springer,then pace it out,or better still measure it with a tape,put it on video,and lets see.

Well i'll slag it off then.I was a member of the bbs for 3 years,bought and sold many items without probs.Then one of the clique made a comment,i pm'ed him my phone mumber and asked him to call me,so that he could speak to me, and repeat what he'd said,he declined my offer.I then told him he was a coward,and that one day our paths would cross,and i'd ask him to slag me to my face.I was banned.A large percentage of the forum are paper shooting,gun nerds.I have f**k all in common with a group of "gungeeks" and "keyboard warriors"

Never seen a "working" fox terrier in this country,by work i mean real work,not ratting and rabbiting.I'm intrigued though,and have heard of some on the continent that graft.

Sometimes ask myself this question.I'v had many ferrets over the years,some seem to bolt every rabbit while others,including the two i have at the minute seem to kill to ground all the time,fed,hungry,quiet,noisy,bell on collar,it don't make any difference.Another thing is the speed of a ferret on hunt,i watched a rabbit bolt towards some cover,and the ferret weren't that far behind.

They are the absolute bollox mate i've a pair here thast i've had since 93,and there still going strong (had to replace the liners twice though).They aint great to walk any distance in,but for warmth,they better anything. I got mine for fishing,andf they are superb when your standing or sitting in the cold for any length of time.

Never met a terrier yet that didn't get wound up around rats.I've a beddyxwhippet pup here that has been ratting since the age of 6 months. My young black bitch,is a fantastic ratter,and was introduced to it by accident.

Get it looked at asap mate,my young terrier bitch had the same thing,i just thought it was some sand or mud that was irritating her eye.Next day her lens was milky,so i took her to the vets,it was an ulcerated cornea.They removed a thorn from the eyeball,and she was back and forth to the vets for 3 weeks having iodine washe's,and drops 4 times a day.The infection is now gone,but sadly she will have a permanent impairment,and as such it would be unfair to expect her to do any serious work.This young bitch was just starting out,and coming on well,now thats finished and she'll be no more than a r

Good question, If i was being wise I'd probably say its personal preference I've never had a Bedlington Whippet, but I have asked my self this question more than once and here are my thoughts. Im using a "smart charger" that is meant for 12v 24ah golf trolley batteries,it charges in 4 stages,and when fully charged,will smart charge,by trickling low current as and when needed.Have charged my 12v7ah batteries 20 plus times with no probs.The chargers output is 2-4 amps,and as i'm sure you know the slower and more gradually a batery is charged the longer it will last.

Evening Gnash and onered,sorry for butting in.Heres my take,Hatton is the best light welter in the world,there isn't anyone that would seriously trouble him at the weight,including Torres,and Malinaggi.Witter isn't a great fighter,awkward yes,reasonable dig yes,but thats it.For washed up fighters look under "Vivian Harris" Now about Tzsyu,and Castillo being shot,past it,etc,Nobody suggested that these two fighters were shot,until after the Hatton fights,i subscribe to all the boxing monthlys,and i visit quite a few of the boxing websites.None of these said these fighters weren't up to the job
