Sheep dip is the stuff mate I used it years ago it kept the ticks off too and helps with certain skin problems,drontal is good for the worms,Good food and excersise and the dog will come good....
If his ears smell musty its more than likely that he has ear mites and the crusty stuff is where hes been scratching if you put white toilet roll round your finger and swab his ear out it will probably be covered in brown waxy stuff ....earmite sh*t......if so treat with drops or TEP powder and it should be fine.

I used to feed mine on ambrosia creamed rice to take some pressure of the jill if I had a big litter you might want to try that ate it fair fattens them up so dont give them too much
I used to use the barrels but had problems with condensation in the winter think it was just with the two terriers breathing and it condensated on the top of the barrel and dripped down.
