    Thanks Mark, seems i have the older model, dont think there is any difference in the actual optics, only the fast focus / turrets and mine was about £40 cheaper Do you use a Nikon ? what do you think of them.. Cheers Mate. LD

    Just got myself one of the above scopes from Optic ware house, i am happy with my purchase but a bit confused with the model received. i typed in the above description and it showed a scope with quick adjust focus ring and spring loaded resettable turrets. When i received mine it had the locking ring type focus and standard nikon turret adjustment i can only assume there are different models out there but cant find any info anyone else had the same experience or can help explain!!     Think it is a x verminator tactical torch, in very good condition and in original box ( bit tatty ) only problem is that i renewed the bulb and fitted a 12 volt instead of 9 volt so at the moment not as bright as it should be i have tried to show this in pics.. batteries are ok £20 Posted.     Swap the above for good quality scope with 1" tube and mag of 4-12x50 or 4-16x50 & no parallax adjustment. Mamba is in excellent condition with original box, flip ups and fixing tools.. Thanks. Keith..... Try to get pics up later

    Just testing the water !! Looking to exchange 2 scopes: MTC MAMBA LITE 3-12 X44 SCB, AND HAWKE VARMINT 2 4-16 X44 for one good quality scope, must be a 50mm and 4-12 or 4-16 mag, but without parallax adj, also 1" tube. Both scopes are in excellent condition mamba comes with original box and fitted with the screw on lense covers with adjustment tools, has the scb ret. The hawke scope is 1" tube with front parallax adj and mill dot reticle. Anyone interested pm me and will try to get pics to you. ps the hawke varmint scope has already been advertised for

    Been trying to set up my grandsons BSA lightening. Bolted on the scope but no matter how we adjusted it could not get it to zero , thaught it may be the scope so tried another but still had the same problem, tried different mounts and there was an improvement but scope was almost fully adjusted to the left we managed to get it shooting pretty good at 30 yds but closer and further shots wondered off zero. i think it could be that scope grooves are tot cut true to the bore what is the easiest way to get round this. Any help much appreciated. LD. ps two piece mounts are being used..

    Hi mate, i used these a few years back they are high velosity rounds but not sure what fps they do, in all fairness i found them to be one of the most accurate hv i have used, but sadly cant seem to get them around here any more. LD

    hi mate, i am from rhymney valley and i am a member of the "Cardiff small arms club" the range is in Rogiet just off the severn bridge, we shoot the first Sunday of every month, ranges are @ 100 & 200yds. There is a one off payment for joining then a yearly subscription. if you are interested pm me, perhaps i can sort a day out for a visit.what calibres you looking to shoot ? LD

    Hi Mate, Primer pockets go over size after the case has had a few reloads, especially if the rounds are loaded to max, only thing to do is pull the bullets out ( carefully ) empty powder , get rid of the brass and buy new!! LD

    I use a ruger 22/77 K hornet, i full resize, trim and clean every reload -- good accuracy, no problems at all use the sierra 45gn hornet bullet very good and much cheaper
