  1. My son-in-law has a HW90 fitted with gas ram, up until recently had not been used for quite a few years, but when it was fired seemed low on power, had it checked putting out 7.5ft/lbs. any one in the local area ( south wales ) own a pump so that ram can be recharged and tested willing to pay! Thanks. LD
  2. Good point there Jamie I use H335 powder for my .223 and guys at the range use VIT 133, when fireing the vit seems to give a sharp "crack" sound but 335 is more of a "bang" if you stand behind the shooters the Vit gives the impression of being much quieter or is it my imagination LD

  16. jackson rifles will offer a 40% trade in against a new T8 but you should think about a wildcat P8 mate, fully strippable/cleanable and you can oil them so dont rot like the Reflex and even if for some reason the baffling did go in time you can just by replacement baffling. no "ting" when you fire and calibre specific too. atb alan. Any ideas as to cost of the p8 mate Think they are about £235 mate

  24. Hi Mate, Had a .22K hornet for about 3 years and IMO an excellent calibre :thumbs:and would great for use with regards to comments in your post. i reload mine with 40 Gn Sierra blitzking head & 13 Gns Lilgun Powder this combination will drop a fox at 175 yds ( up to 200yds if confident ) Easy and cheap to reload, quiet with a good mod, no recoil worth mentioning, 700 to 800 Ft Lbs energy more than enough for fox.. I also use a .223 but looking back and taking into account that average range of foxes shot is under 150Yds, i have accounted for many more fox with the hornet than the .223.
