Have a look at the MP Huricane XS. Alot of reviws on there say It's good stuff, on a par or better than cyclone and It's cheaper too.

They look like mine. If they could talk they could tell some storys of my catches and escapades. Mine tend to get sewn up Infact I'm sitting in them now and both knees have been done aswell as various other holes around the knees and too many others to mention. The arse and crotch have been ripped to shreds too. Still they do me, there the right colour and save me spending any more cash. Personally I don't use a fuse in mine and have never had any problems. It's more connections that can and do go wrong but If you really want to put one in I'd imagine a 10W would do. That's what was in my nitestalker when I had it and although that takes or did have a 100W bulb in it, I think it would do. I chopped the fuse and cigarette connectors off right away and havn't had any problems. I'm sure there is another equation thing to work out what size fuse you need to give you adequate protection without it tripping all the time, Just can't remember the damn thing! Still for a lamp I don't t

Steer clear of the handheld cheapo 2mil lamps. The batterys last about 2 mins in most of them. I use a clulite laserlite and a Nitestalker now with either 1 7ah or 2 7ah batterys wired together to increase my lamping time. They seem good enough so far. The NS has the edge on the beam with tightness and length.

cant find any, best thing to do is stick your little finger up its bum if it bites you its fine Yes that usually works fine speedy but you have to watch some of them. the drain is 4.1666666667 (V=I/R, 50w bulb in the lazerlite/12volts) or pritty similar give or take a few 6's so you will get about 4hrs constant lamp on time (17ah/4.16). Obviosly most arn't going to have it on constantly so It depends on each person how much actual "lamping time" you will have. HTH

I saw John Wilson doing that the other day. I can't remember If it was the Chinook or the Steelhead but one of them gave him a right good fight!! They were netting some aswell for tagging. I just flicked over to it and caught them explaing what it was all about, the weighing, measureing etc. Looked quite good

That may be the one SS, I'll see If anyone else has been to both before I decide where I'm going. I havn't heard about that one? Is that the Llanfair near Welshpool??
