Cheers lads. I was gonna get some mainline fusion liquid but think it only comes in base mix and then you still need some other liquid so It costs about 20 quid straight off!! If making strawberry for example would I just need the strawberry flavour and base mix or would I need sweetener and other stuff. Just wondering what to buy when I go down the tackle shop?? This was the fish that fell to the tuti fruiti boilie. No monster but welcome after a shit day of one missed run!

I fancy trying making a few boilies and just wondering what flavours and mixes work best. I had a carp on tutti fruti and a crab yesterday so may get some tutti fruiti flavour?? I'll probably be using Mole catchers base mix but haven't a clue about dye, flavour, sweetener etc? I'll probably be trying strawberry, scopex, tuti fruiti or the proven old school flavours If anyone has got any proven mixes that I can try?? Cheers,

You could of been making sure the carbon don't build up in his bike too till he comes back for it Still I know what you mean. I came off my push bike (going abit too fast ) and broke my collor bone a few years ago. Wasn't my fault though, If my brother didn't kick his football under my tyre I would of been fine I also managed to flip my mates quad onto me. We were seeing who could do the best drift and I clearly won just It then rolled and run over me. Great fun though

Very true Still, I'm sure you wouldn't be able to keep away from them trout ponds for long It's allways on the American fishing programs Chess. I've never caught a Bass so can't really comment but It doesn't look that great really....Unless your spearing them

I told you she was baiting you over M I've never fished for bass but It's allways on these american fishing shows. It doesn't really float my boat like spearing but It must be good fun as alot seem to do it and that water looks real nice All that for 175k you'd struggle to get a half decent house for that over here

All depends If the lamp Is 6V, what bulbs in the lamp and what amp the batt is. If It's a 12v lamp and a decent 6v battery you can get another 6v and wire them together...

They do look to be some size! I'd love to go over the pond do a bit of hunting there way and try stuff like that out. Perhaps one day 100+ trainers and tracksuit for fishing He needs another horse

Alligators with spears!! It's not that Gorgetzski fella Is It. A mate was telling me awhile ago about one of his DVDs were he catches sharks on a hand line before shooting them. I'll keep an eye out for a gig on ebay. There's a few antique ones on our eBay and some tridents in the US but postage is usually the killer. A mate was saying when they did the re-wires they would keep the old copper and weigh it In every so often. He never mentioned figures and I doubt you would get rich from it but I'm sure It would pay for a round or 2 Friday night. I never pay much attention to the news but wasn't there a lad that got caught nicking some recently.

Is that the frog gig off cabelas mate? Looks like the only one on there. Yes them small trout. Just something else to try and keep me buisy I just remembered I was supsoed to be getting some pics up! You can see what the heads like on them pics - sort of inverted trident. It srews on and off so I was going to hammer a thread into a handle and screw that trident on so can use it as a spear or on the gun. Who's Robson Green M? Is It going on TV him spear fishing. Wouldn't mind watching that If you know the time and channel? sounds interesting.

Last night, Into the water on the river. I was only getting the end wet I know I'd have better results with a spear (Infact I mite make one up with this trident head on) but was just testing it out. I'm not near any open water so will be a while before I test It properly. Have you tried shooting INTO the water with one or just used a spear? I'd imagine It would work If you were pritty much parallel to the surface water?

Spun can be single knotted however I make mine with double knotted. Just gives me peice of mind that they will last and It doesn't take long to get another knot on. As for how many nets....How are you making them, shaped or straight, what size??

Cheers lads. Thanks for the offer local but I'm just messing about so don't want to spend too much although that does seem like a great price. I had a quick look last night just getting the spear wet - never realised that the spear would bounce so much when shooting into the water

Doesn't make a difference on the size of the turf when getting close. I was lamping fields just starting to sprout so the crop was about short grass height and you can get close. They may be less willing to squat but on the right night you should be able to get close to them.....However I don't envy you with the speed aspect of them

Cheers mate, I'll have a look for them sea gypsies in ab it. Impulse buy with abit meaning. It's always nice to have different methods of catching fish or quarry for that matter so I'm sure I will have a walk down the river eventually or a trip up the coast. Looks quite interesting all the different heads and sized bands for it. I take It the bigger bands are just for more power? But Is the blitz really needed for 20 or so yard slips on rabbits?? I use a nite stalker recently and It has the longer beam incase you bring the rifle out for a fox or hare

Yeah be good to see them M. With the look on mine It has interchangeable heads like the trident screws off. It's a Diana nautisub If that means anything - made in Spain? I'll get some pics of mine up after, I'm going out in a bit. Only thing on this one, there's no were to put string to wind the fish in or in my case, retrieve the arrow Once I've got a better aim with it I'll see what's about. Do you know of anywhere selling spare arrows or elastic? I don't mind If It's over the pond or whatever.
