    They look smart BB. Alot seem to really rate the danners. I'm looking for a cheap second pair of boots now preferably something medium height as the lowas make me sweat like mad after an hour but I still want to stay dry if I step In a stream or low river. Think I'll try some army surplus matterhorns or similar.

    Cheers mate. I'll have to see if theres any decent numbers of salmon showing in the local rivers to me Wouldn't mind catching a few and it's one of the few fish I like eating.

    Seen it before, very impressive but could have a few problems if the dog spooked the fish as it went to pick it up, the fish took off and the hook flys out of the fish

    Just wondering if any mods or admin know why my PM's aren't sending properly. They screen I type the message on will freeze once I have clicked send but the message is still getting through but I don't get any notification that It has been sent. Only when I got to the users profile and click send user message and send it like that it will it notify me but if I reply to a message I have received it doesn't tell me its sent - just freezes up

    something at around 640 to get good clear top speed images but if the dogs are slower you should be able to get away with a slower speed. Can you program your camera? What is it?

    I've never shown mine only took her to one show to socialise her. When I go to the shows I go to enjoy it and have a look round. When you're shadowed all day by a panting dog it just slows you down and is a general PITA. IMO the shows are a dog thieves wet dream. You hear so much about people getting dog nicked or attempted nicked from vans even grown men threatening to nick dogs off usually women Abit off topic but I agree - shows to a lot of people mean a lot more than they let onto.

    When I started fishing I was content catching little rudd, gudgeon, and roach all day. Then I got pissed off unhooking them all the time and aimed for small carp and keep moving up to bigger stuff but still If I catch a 10-15lb carp I will be pleased. I know to most It won't be much and I'm sure I will want to go bigger once the attraction of these wears off on this size range. I'd love to try on a lower stocked lake for some better fish but lower stocked generally means less runs and if I'm not catching I'm not having fun

    I'm sure gold is and will always go up but that doesn't look like much of a profit to me, I still wouldn't sniff at it but.... How about Darcy books M, My maths has never been any good but hows 350% profit I may of got my sums wrong, it has been known before I'll have a look at that link CM, Thanks mate I thought it was 3.6K Shepp and wondered were the 7k was from. How much tax could I expect to get taken per year and would that be just off the interest or the main lump sum of money - say 10K for example. As you can tell I'm not too bright with all this stuff Were would be the best

    Why are you drilling them when using pellet bands? Just put the band round the pellet and hook some rubber onto the hook and that's it. No need to drill when using bands - well at least I never do. As Mart says with the drilling though - clear the bit and don't rush it. Could the bit be blunt and not cutting so you're putting too much force to get it through? Too big bit for the pellets you're using?

    Never say never. Plenty of time yet. A lot depends on the waters IMO. On the one I was on about it was plane to see that you needed some know how to catch but on some waters you can be pulling out good fish frequently. Thinking of having a day out Tuesday if I have enough time. There's supposed to be a big fish in one of the lakes on this fishery - It hasn't been weighed for a couple of years and last time it was about 30 odd lb.

    That's what I used on the river by me M, corn and have had a few. A few people said they wouldn't go for it but they don't seem to complain. Some go crazy for it yet others totally ignore it but that's fish for you At least you are catching JM. Were I usually go carping I get a few in a session mostly about 5-13 ish but I tried another lake a few years ago. There was a good sized fish dead on the side and were ever I see this I always end up not catching and this was no exception! nothing all day.
