No doubt will be aload of shit getting bred by people who wanted a malinois as they have abit of hype around em. Think its like any dog though gotta do your homework and find the right breeder for you. Do malinois suffer with hip problems in their old age? Seem real agile dogs, never seen one in the flesh mind you. Also do Alsatians/malinois work ok detecting stuff? I'm sure American police just drive around with them and use em for car searches. Why isn't more done for those who have been in the army? I bet everyone would support it and the mps work for us. If they cut the money we give in aid abroad which doesn't actually reach the people, and helped those who have served the country more. Who would object to that? Can't see why it's not just common sense. Do mps have shares in the companies we give money to or something? Charity starts at home.

Will continue to be a problem when people let their pet dogs breed IMO. Surely a dog with hip problems being worked it'll show up and you'll know that dogs not to be bred from. I can bet you won't get a pit conditioned if its got hip problems so guessing its show dogs? Think that's why it'll be good if people only brought dog from proven workers. Don't allow their to be a market for pets that have been bred. Sadly it won't ever happen though.

Will they all get hip problems in their old age? What's the reason for that if from working lines? Simply due to their size? Had an American bulldog as my first ever dog which was put down due to hip displasia, funny thing is the moment had a really low hip score. The peddler breeder bred the dam again and she produced more pups with hip problems so dispite the low score she produced bad.

Can't see it being enough because they can just split and go amongst innocent people. It's not like is where a uniform, it's an ideology. Suppose it would be better for the breed on the whole if people didnt just get a dog from working lines but parents with titles? Now I know most probably just want a dog that barks and haven't got the time to enter any competitions and what not. Thing is those dogs IMO shouldn't be bred. Someone I know going diving at some place near Egypt called el sharm or something. Got some lovely photos and it looks wicked. Said to him "what would you do if you saw a shark?" Replies to me "dive in" lol don't think it's for me. He said his seen a few sharks and they aren't any bother.

Not clued up much on both breeds so won't pretend I am but can I ask what would be the benefit of the cross? Surely if both from proven working stock then there shouldn't be a need to cross. Never been attracted to the Alsatians for how they look but seeing a few vids on YouTube always looked impressive. The malinois caught my eye abit more because I've seen some really fit looking dogs which look real agile. When I used to work at the undertakers if you was on call it was a rule that if you got a call out 6 hours before your due to start the next day you get that day off and paid.
