  1. Bloody hell!!! i have only ever watched them emerge at first light. Great to get some decent snaps of them. i once found a SH with wings fused even though it had fully emerged. I took it home and seperated its wings carefully with a craft knife. After sitting on my hands for a while it took off with that amazing flight they have. If i had a scanner here i would put some pics up i have of them emerging. I used to study them in the garden pond when they were larve. Awesome creatures.... top pics...

  5. I whipped in for the Claro a couple of times many years ago. used to love beagling, the drystone wall land was my favourite because the views were great. Best run i ever saw was when the Airedale came over for a invite meet and they span one around for 1 1/2 hours. Seen the black combe beagles hunt too as well as the east lics hare hounds...

  8. that was about 3 years ago .he flew down on to the floor with that gurb they all came out of the nest after him then 1 by 1 went out the door.all gone in 1 hour unusual that matey, i normally find the fledglings jumping the nest at first light. lovelly sight i bet it was. the parents will feed them for a couple more days then theyr'e on their own whilst mum and dad gets another nest lined and starts it all again. saw a adult robin feeding a fresh youngster today. nice. great pics....all the best JD
  9. Superb pic. those wrens look like they are about to jump. i bet the nest is empty in the morning. You did very good to get that photo. where i am the wrens havent hatched yet and most are still on eggs. i love the little wrens, quite beautiful really...

  13. i had a young lad called Buckshot come down to go on the drink with me friday night so i said i would have a walk with him and see if we could photograph a couple of nests. I will return with the big camera to photograph the adult birds feeding this week..... no birds were disturbed of course.... but i do love seeing the strange places they nest. Here are a few pics of what i showed him over the past 2 days...

  16. Anyone who can make a lamping video gets my respect. i have tried it, and the results were poor...lol fair play to the boys for having a good go
  17. Theres plenty of Jays in captivity matey. people don't breed birds just for call birds, they breed them to achieve breeding success in their own aviaries.
  18. Unless they are captive bred rung ones....
  19. No i got the sealyham one, its the other orange one with a lakey on front...i think its orange...
  20. I needed 2 actually. the one with the 2 russels on the front and that orange one.. thanks for asking you inbred sheep-rapist
  21. my mate had one and it was pretty good, but you wouldnt say it was an out and out hare dog. When it got a bit of age on it though the dog went off them a little. but not a bad alrounder. the dog was not commercial bred, it was bred from working collie stock.
  22. LOLO... what you will find is that when "sand" is the issue then al warrentees are void.... i found that out the hard way!!! lol.... can you give me a link to the lense?? my mate showed me some on ebay today from hong kong, but i dont know how dodgy it will be buying from them, also the tax upon importing.... i would ideally like a 400 mil lense...
  23. yes i agree...but i give them dso much stick out with the terriers etc that they get covered in grit and dirt and rain....so i have found that electrical equipment only last me 12-18 months if i am lucky...
