You know as well as the rest of us sensible out doors men, Labs are only good for pig food lol Are they enclosed? -
Both monsters them.. Not much difference between them. Im sure there was an article in an old EDRD mag, some lads were after a particularly large fox that was seen about an estate. When they bagged it it weighed over 40lbs, sure it said 45lbs! huge fat bugger it was!

You two crack me up.... ULGecko... cheers mate, and see you soon Ive had a few good enquiries, Im meeting a lad in a couple of weeks when im back down the border... he was the first to get in touch in a serious way. I will see how that goes.If he is still keen after we have spoken at length, I will put him through his first aid. It would cost him 40 quid only. I will update once we have met. I thought I would have been getting plenty of response from folk on here, always moaning about no jobs etc etc only had 2 positive enquiries all the best DnN

The only ornaments worth having on the mantle piece are made of lead lol, Yea there can be sleepless nights here for sure, and pretty impressive displays...you do get used to it to an extent, but in the middle of the night when it sounded like a nuke just landed on next doors roof it can irritate. The thing I do like is the peace (between the bombs and guns lol) I can walk all day and not see a sole, plus the farmers and folk are canny enough chaps, usually spare the time for a chat. -
The ONLY way it will take a nice pic, is if both the camera and the subject are totally stationary. Thats the point im trying to make. It focusses fine. Just cant handle any movement whatsoever... it is the worst camera ive ever had, including 3.99 disposables. sorry this thing has me pissed lol need to get out with the dogs. Anyone else got one? I think its going back to the shop tomorow

Oh and on the multi capture sport thing, it drops the pic quality down to 3 mega pixel from 14 ffs... it gets worse, if the subject is even slowly moving, its blurred, if im slowly moving or not exactly steady as a rock, its blurred. NIKON COOLPIX = UTTER SHITE my f*****g phone takes better pictures.. and after all the good things I hear about nikon. Thats it im torturing the b***%*d untill it fecking works or dies!

I think the boom you heard may have been from Otterburn firing rage, i heard/felt it in the house last night, there had been a couple really big ones earlier on just before dark. Get them periodically here, sometimes so big the windows rattle No offence, but I live on the ranges! And was there lamping when I seen it LOL The boom was faint... and from the south... to be honest I didnt really think it was the thing crashing into earth until another poster said he heard it too, and he was in Co.Durham, just seemed a bit of a coincidence. -
The profile music was a good touch I thought... why dont it work any more..? booooo DnN

It went way further south than I thought it would.... was seen in Stoke on Trent... wierd how we heard a boom from that far away??? Maybe sonic boom or something else? Maybe stoke has been blown off the map lol -

We were North Northumberland, and yes, maybe a minute later heard a boom and the pheasants kicked up a fuss! http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1799448/pg1 ... seems plenty folk caught sight of it! cheers DnN -
Well was just out lamping for a few bunnies, not good conditions, clear skies and quiet, but got a couple in the bag... my lass who was out with me suddenly said 'whats that'! Well, looked up to see a huge meteor tearing across the sky, with a massive trail behind it...looked like it was coming down somewhere further south, maybe Co. DUrham, maybe further, hard to tell how high it was... best feckin shooting star Ive ever seen! Heeds up! Shame we didnt get it on camera though as we did have it with us... never mind, ill not forget that in a hurry. anyone else seen one like that? DnN

Yeah thanks for the replies chaps, what you both say makes sense but ive tried it all, im usually not bad with cameras phones etc but this has me beat. I should be able to be moving the camera slowly, press the button and thepic should be clear, ffs my phone does that on sport mode!! lol But this dosent have a sport mode only a multi capture sport thing which is ok, but I dont wana take 4 pics every time lol Back to drawing board thanks for help so far, appreciated

I know what you mean cookie, but I dont want to make out its easy, or in any way fun because its not. Its shit. Anyway, ive had a few PMs now and just sending details to some members, so hopefully I can get someone from THL the work.

Just got this coolpix, nice thing... tried it on pretty much all the settings, but cant fecking stop the image being blurry? If either my hand or the target is moving the pic is blurry as feck. Cant get my head round it, im scrolling through the instructions now, not much help so far. It does say it has a fast shutter speed which takes great action shots?????? Advice welcome. And needed before this damn thing goes through the window!! lol All the best DnN
