It shouldn't be to much of a problem if it happens the once and it's not your fault but if the same sort of thing happens again within a few years even if again not your fault then they class you as high risk n put your insurance up..

Further Update On New Lurcher Association
dodger replied to Dewclaw69's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Well if I'm one of the members you mention that have offended anybody on this thread then I apologise that wasn't my intention but people need a thick skin when taking on something like this IMO, if folk get offended by debates and things put to and mentioned on here how will they be when confronted with doubts and negativity by the public who's on the other side of the fence and against this then there maybe in the future at some point questions and debates with both pros and cons put to by the media to take on board and deal with etc ; ) So I take it I was one of them that you mentioned then -

Yeh gain have ingredients on the bag and Iv found this good for a dog that looses fur on the back legs or a dog that doest need much protein, I just gave 25 25 nuggets/complete with the rest meat n veg not sure what the 50 50 would be like but probably be the same I'd imagine so good stuff I reckon..

My advise would be to go with your first gut instinct and the one that's picked you and if you've changed your mind on others since then go back to that first gut instinct, I'm happy with the pup I kept from my litter she's doing ok but i havnt bonded with her as much as I'd of liked and in my heart I know I let the one that was meant for me go due to me humming and harring to much and confusing myself and Iv regretted thought about and missed him ever since, best of luck..

I think he might mean pet/worker mate as in tagging along on mooches bushing etc whilst being a loyal companion and looking after the property with then also the option to breed I personally think they'd be a good addition to any kennel ; )

I don't think anything that bad has been said on this thread just points made questions and advice put forward by members to both groups to maybe see how each group reacts and responds from it all, I think it was a good thing testing the water so to speak, some of what was mentioned and put forward was handled in a good profesional manner by those starting the groups and some buckled amongst it but hopefully learned something from it, now atleast the cards are on the table and it's got everyone's attention, everybody knows about it and I think it will calm down now and hopefully move forward i -

But nothing is established yet is it mate, this thread was started to create interest on the club and now clubs wasn't it surly when it or there up and running things may be as you say.. There was a much longer and detailed thread posted originally when Lagbi first came from an idea mooted by Giro Then Dewclaw69 got on board plus lots of others. ALC then rose like a phoenix and Lagbi was formed so it moved on to a steering group for Lagbi a meeting was arranged with C/A then ALC revealed a new name AWLL and rolled out its committee or at least blew off the cobwebs, So it was much further -

To both clubs surely it was never going to be easy getting involved with something like this especially something involving lurchers/owners in this current climate but good luck to both parties atb with it.. -

Mush just over a month all this about a new club I e labgi came about and obviously a lot said and discused about it then all of a sudden a duplicate club throws it's hat into the ring, so obviously there guna be even more talk and " debate" come to the surface, it's normal it happens you've got expect debate in such maters, if your on for throwing the towel in at this stage at such trivial things then I can't see why youse want to be getting involved in such current organisations and long term goals lol.. -

Alan is the Chair, he doesn;t need to log on to here to know whats going on, he delegates. Giro, is Pr. its part of his role.... One simply cannot sit * on the net * all day in order to reach other mediums , for the time being. Don't mean to sound rude but seems like he's been in that chair so to speak for 20 years then n maybe to go forward it might be best to get out of it and move to then move things forward.. Moomin what were you thinking taking on that role ha they saw you coming there lol ; )
