    If you don't believe what I've written earlier in this thread, then try it yourself. Try logging out and then clicking on a members name, all you'll get is "Board Message". Now either your profile page will log every attempt to view your profile, or it will be a deleted member as they show up as "Guest". It is not a conspiracy or a best kept secret.

    Until your Dad has checked his emails and clicked the one from THL to validate his account, then almost all forums will be protected. Once he has clicked the validating link, he'll be able to see/read all forums.

    I've just tried it as a Guest and they cannot view profiles, your profile page must also log any attempted visitors too i'd imagine

    Just FYI, ellie whatever has been banned indefinitely and will shortly be deleted. Therefore she cannot cause any further problems under that name but as has been said in this thread, be careful guys who you deal with, you never know who is behind that name/screen. If you have a bad gut feeling about a member then either forget it or contact a Mod and see if they have anything further to give you on them. Don't forget you can't see their warning meters, they may have been warned for something in the past. SS

    Just had a look around with Google. From what I can find out, if they have the right bits, then they are considered a car and can be used on a motorway but you'd need to be brave I must say! There doesn't appear to be any new tests to ride them or anything, you can drive them with a car license.

    I can't say I own one, but have driven/ridden a few road legal beasts, and I use the word beast on purpose If they are taxed, insured and have the appropriate safety bits and lights then they can be ridden on anything, certainly up to dual carriageway. You can drive anything on dual carriageways and walk on them if you want, but can't drive tractors or walk along motorways. for example. Not sure whether they are allowed on motorways, but certainly anything up to dual carriageway P.S. might know someone who knows, see if I can find out.

    Thats not normal no. In all honesty, I can't think why on earth they would need everyone else's DOBs and Names. If questioned, no doubt they will use the "Anti-Terrorism" reason though, I have no doubt of that.

    The definition of "Occupier" is, as you all say, meant to be that in Sect 27, WCA. But I've encountered three FEO's, in two different police forces, who have told me that they still stick to the old "Estate Condition" wording on Occupier and not that of Sec. 27. Which is both farcical and potentially dangerous to the health of your FAC
