Scrapped just found out what they are there worth around 90 quid There can't be many folk that have not fallen foul of that if you didn't know you`d be fine but knowing would be a kick in the nuts ---I bought an ivory page turner nice thing carved with elephants and pierced in a lace effect from a jumble sale for 50p I sold it for £75 and was well happy a week later I watched it sell at auction for £300 everything gets checked and double checked before I sell it now...

Yes must admit i prefer to quote for the job,and probably 95% of my work is on this basis but some folk especially if moneys tight will say can you give me a couple of hours hence the hourly rate. Like you say a price is better all round as you and the customer know the score for the job involved .But you should see the looks you get on a £100 job and your done in 2 hours,they forget you got machinery,petrol,tax insurance,waste disposal etc etc. And the ones with money are the bloody worse!! spot on mate!!! i priced up a job the other week, some huge conifer hedges surrounding a t

thats the thing mate!!! my neighbour was doing his privet hedge few weeks ago with shitty electric trimmers and strimming his lawn with a shitty electric strimmer..........after an hour he had done f**k all lol...........i went round with my stihl gear and had the hedge done in 20 mins and the garden strimmed in 10...........never helped clean up tho......... bird looking at them pictures im guessing the job was around the £150 mark mate......... you know me mate , I never pay that lol , don't forget I done the lawns, and front hedges my self. so it was only back+side hedges , plus

Did get three quarters of the way but the women took over ..a short relapse into the unspeakable LOL.. got half way through one it was a bit raw I put in on the back burner for a winters day about 6 year a go sent a couple of bits out of it to the countrymans weekly and they sent them back so I thought maybe its not good enough..

said it before I think the interview books are a quick cheap way of putting a book together but if it fills a gap in the market fair play ---when a good book come`s out about one mans story of a lifetime with terriers I`ll buy it ...not a big fan of eddie chapman but I rated his books.. about time you put pen to paper don ,,,
