supposedly there was an American version of Coupling. same title, character names etc but everyone was American.... sucked..... sucked hose water compared to the UK version. when i first heard it advertised on a local station back in 2003, all i heard was "Coupling" but when i actually got around to watching it.... crap. even when i tried to pretend i was ignorant of the UK version..... it was still crap. as for why where is so much "talent"? i was talking to a girl from the UK who's daughter is in love with the sport of football (Soccer to us) but in her area the girls arent encour

I quote from DSC training Manual from David Stretton-A very popular training manual for DSC candidates. "The avarage range at which the majority of woodland deer ar shot is between 0-100m" Lowland variation I assume that you are refering to a DSC when you say License.? Unless you are refering to the Highland DSC course where longer range shots are considered, due to the terrain and quarry. I suggest that you confirm with your Dad that he really does mean 500 meters? As allready said, very long shot...... Matt

Just sat with the wife listening to 'Americas Got Talent' on tele. The judges are rejecting stuff that would have won the 'Britains Got Talent' No embarising Oldies (you know the ones) No embarising Kids No uglies Etc Ect Why do they do almost everything better, bigger more proffesional etc etc. I obviously exclude their role in running the planet, sorry George. But in everything else??? Is it just that there is more to choose from? Is it the culture which supports better devellopment of talent? Has it been screened first for the foreign audience to give the impression of more ta

The only way to get rid of Norton for good is to go to control panel and uninstall it. through add/remove programs. I would connect your external hard drive to your laptop and save the download AVG free to the ext HDD over night. Then, if you have the factory reinstall disks, wipe it. It is likely that Norton wil be on the reinstall disks. SO leave it on until you wipe it. Remerber when you reinstall xp, you will need to also download all the updates, service packs etc. Which depending on the age of the disks, could also take a while. If the only problem is speed and space, why not t

The only law affecting shoting from a vehicle are when shooting deer. The Deer (firearms, etc) (scotland) Order 1985 and principally Deer (Scotland ) act 1995 Section 20. It is illegal to discharge a firearm or any missile at a deer from a moving vehicle. Rabbits will be fine Matt

Some St Peter jokes whilst were in the mood Bush At The Pearly Gates Albert Einstein dies and goes to heaven. At the Pearly Gates, Saint Peter tells him, "You look like Einstein, but you have no idea the lengths some people will go to sneak into Heaven. Can you prove you're Albert Einstein?" Einstein ponders for a few seconds and then asks, "Can I have a blackboard and some chalk?" Saint Peter snaps his fingers and a blackboard and chalk instantly appear. Einstein proceeds to describe, in arcane mathematics and symbols, his theory of relativity. Saint Peter is su

Jarvey, I mirror everything Logic says and also add acouple of alternatives to the the list:- Nikon Monarch 5.5-16.5x44 AO Under £300 if you shop around Nikko Stirling Platinum Nighteater 4-16 x 44 Down in price at optics warehouse to £104 (thrown in for discussion) Save the extra for a decent Bipod!! Leupold 6-18x40 AO VX-11 Around the £300 As for altering the range on my scopes- None of mine have that ability. One is a mildot, and i put rounds down the gun until i am happy i know where in the trajectory each mildot falls. Then given the accuracy of my set up, i can confid

I shoot fox and deer through a 4-12 mag scope. I don't have the ability to confidently shoot past the 200-250 yard mark on fox. I have to say that it appears quite a small target at the upper end of the scale. If you have the ability and confidence to shoot past this mark, then i suggest something with a slightly higher mag than this. Also at this range, clarity will be important, so something reasonable quality will be required. You will also likely need to shoot off a stable platform to get the best of a high mag scope. Eg rest or bipod You really have to set your budget and get the best

What are you actually looking to shoot at those ranges? Targets or quarry Sounds a bit optimistic for a hunting target under normal conditions? Matt

Hi, i have just had the renewall forms in for my landrover 2.4TD 07 Plate/ £400 f'ing pounds. It's my daily drive, and allthough it does 26 plus MPG it is costing me an extra 40-50 beer tokens every month, just to get to work. Its due for it's first service next week £300. and insurance apparently is set to go up as well. But its a Landrover, so is immune from any persecution from me. I love it to bits. Oh well, looks like the kids will be eating rabbits with the ferrets next week!!!! Matt -

Hi, just confirming that the Airarms s400 does have grub screw fitting moderator. Mine is excellent, easy to fit and not expensive. Just remove the muzzel brake and slip on. If you check out the Pinned section under Firearms and shotguns forum, My post in the 'show us your rifle section' has a picture of the Airarms MOD fitted to the s400. If you want a closer picture let me know. One moderator my local gun shop hinted was better than the AA, was the logan. I have no experience of it, but they think it is even more effective. It wasn't in stock when I bought mine, and I couldn't be bothere
