  2. anyone know the name of the picture please.
  3. whats best in mine might not be so good in yours. vitt 133,and 50 grn blitzkings is what i use in the 223, as for the make up of the ammo your gun will let you know what it likes. get a reloading manual and start from the begining.
  4. know a few people that have been refused for various reasons. each application is judged on his or her own merits. give us more if you want more.
  5. some firearms department wont give fox as a condition for .22 RF. your does i take it.
  6. i am sure you cant shoot birds from a motor. but cant be bothered to look it up right now.
  7. you like your toys john. looks good mate. me , i will have to stick to the spare mobile phone way.
  8. I have a cz hornet, reload for it with 40 grain sierra blitzkings, powder is h110. it does 3100 fps over the crono. its cheaper to reload for it than use my 17 hmr, it wellies charlie out to 200 yds. and head shoots rabbits past 150 yds. its not deer legal nor is my 17 or 22 rimmie. if i was to sell all my rifles the hornet would be the last to go.
  9. over here you need a slot on your ticket for them, unless its a 12 ft lb air rifle, as far as i know all air rifles in Ireland are fac, so do you not need authority to posses.
  10. it sells news john. the robber was pointing his weapon so the police man shot him with his firearm. the medias way of making all of us look like bad guys mate.

  13. 'Tenant Farmers' will obviously be facing higher rents and costs. To compensate for these increases from the land owners agents you may well find that you will have to pay for your "Permissions Tenant farmers don't always hold the shooting rights. And the pest control/vermin shooting is sorted by the owners, Which is usually down the syndicate in which case the price is already to high for most of us on here. so shooting will revert back to being a rich mans sport and poaching/thieving will thrive.
  14. Hi Dean. do you still have these please.
  15. very nice. whats the mick cawston pic in the middle called please.
  16. So something like 26-30p a shot. Not bad about £1.50 less than a premium factory round in .223 e.g Remington 50 gr Acuutips. On that basis then once youve loaded 3-400 rounds it would have offset the equipment and start up costs. Sounds good to me. plus the accuracy factor, makes it well worth it.
  17. buy a few brands and try em. your rifle will let you know what it likes.
  18. how much to reload 1 round ie bullet + primer +powder bullets , i use 40grn blitkings-£16 per 100 primers 2p each. powder £30-1lb approx- 550 rounds. brass - coppers. do it if you use a lot. i have done over 2000 rounds in 13 month, this is hornet and 223.
  19. if this is the set up , then the scope is on wrong.
  20. not used them as yet, as the above comments are very common from them that have.
