  7. I NOW clean after every outing, even if i only fire 3 rounds, bore snake, entire rifle i bore snake every rifle after use, but i dont class it as cleaning . cleaning a rifle means to me ,copper remover, brush, patches, and a fair bit of time. i dont think what your doing is wrong, but you may find after a few hundred rounds it will want a proper clean. well done with it.
  8. had me 17 hmr about four and half years, ammo was £7 per 50 when i got it. its now near £15 per 50. cheaper to reload the hornet.
  9. and done a lot more than 3 yrs in prison ? spread over your younger years its not an automatic refusal, unless you got the 3 in one sentence then you would not get an fac ever.
  10. Phone em, tell them the farmer has pigeons to be shot and you cant do it.
  11. top man is Dave, good to deal with.

  12. just clean the rifle as and when the groups open up yep.
  13. Cleaning seems to be a grey area with the HMR's. Many local RFD's have told me to clean the rifle after evey use, due to the HMR being such a dirty round But i'm wondering if this is the cause of the problem? Will leave the cleaning for 100 rounds and see if the problems continue. mine is about 4 year old now, had a lot of use, cleaning em to often is a waste of ammo. mine needs it after about 400 rounds. when it was new it took half a box of ammo to get it back on, like you i was told to clean it after every use, waste of time and money.
