  13. Its like a trick question, both guys are the same. Both are getting out and neither know what kind of bag are going to end up with. All the gear in the world isnt any guarante your going to get a good bag or all the rabbits out the warren. missed stop end, the all important missed bolt hole, the knocked net or simply too many stellas the night before. It all happens. Somedays your lucky with it, the rest or the time its just normal. As long as your getting out and doing what you like regardless of the bag is what counts. Mind you if your constantly going and getting nothing then i may co
  14. Putting a good value on a trusty tool, your not far off the mark there gin. Problem is there are far too many ferrets around and to a lot of folk hold no financial value. "its just a ferret!" "£25 for a ferret! my mate can get me another 5 for that price!" If they dont make the initial grade they are easy to discard and end up with the likes of the rescues, pretty much similar to the lurcher rescues. I do think some of the prices from rescue centres are a little outrageous, certainly those quoted on here. Around my way the average donation is £15 per ferret and i have seen some belters come

  18. Yes he can, quite easily and soon move stock into the field,or stock out because it was worried, whos plod going to belive after all your trespassing with a lurcher and lamp Thinking about it, why would he/she even have to justify there actions if they shot your dog or give you a good kicking in the early hours of the morning?? You are poaching! Dont get caught or give it up and seek counselling
  19. As i belive an infra red filter for a lamp isnt cheap, yes you could buy the filter acetate alone but you then have the ballache of fitting it without the use of tape. I have recently aquired a gen1 nv unit but the illuninator was crap and it cost a further £150 for a cobra illuninator. Works well and improves the nv image but im only using the setup for rats at the moment on a precharged air rifle at around 25-30 yds. I will be making a mount to sit the whole unit attatched to my scope when i get the time. I need to move the whole mount forward including scope because im not really happy tr
