  1. I will vouch for this chap. Good bloke and honest. Best of luck.
  2. Pm me your number Craig. Much easier to talk through it.
  3. It's always a killer the postage. You can get better deals using a courier if you bought a few. Individually you would be looking at a tenner postage. So that on top of the price of a tube is going to sting a little.
  4. Four quid a trap but would only lower the price on quantaties over 100. Thats a lot of tubes to have sitting around until they sold.
  5. I cant take credit for these james, the idea partly belongs to somebody else and they are comissioned for manufacture with one of the countrys top wire workers. All i did was make a model they could work from and the leg work.
  6. Thanks for the replies fellas atb
  7. Thanks for the responses but i now have enough takers. Just hope there is enough rabbits to go around
  8. I have some with an internal door which stops the rabbits dropping back down the tube and blocking the main entrance to the tube. Tested and work ok. I was going to get a load made but the price for plating or powder coating was too much so it never went forward. If anybody is interested in any professionally made self colour tubes I can get you a price, but as always postage is the killer .
  9. You may get the odd one or two crows with Larsen using a top entry trap and a call bird. Your success won't last that long as they are extremely clever birds. A side entry trap would be more favourable but any onlookers soon learn quickly.
  10. Yes its a trusty mk1 elliot, all tuned and highly polished internals and FAC
  11. Dadioles. I'm pretty sure he's referring to young crows and squabs etc
  12. As would the next man but if he isn't replying to you and you are out of pocket then a knock on his door would be the next step. I have never had any dealings with the company so can't comment on their service. It maybe a genuine reason why your traps have not come. Maybe just be patient and keep trying. On the other hand and please don't take this the wrong way as no offence is meant, but this is your first lot of posts and you could be trying to knock the fella. Competition perhaps? If you are genuine, I hope you get it sorted.
  13. I'm firmly in the pre charged camp. Nothing wrong with springers and I have had my fair share and regrets of letting some of them go. HW 98 was one of the best springers I've ever had. After a little fettle. My precharged rifles all have bottles so if I'm concerned I may run out of air I just take a spare. Never use it though it just becomes more of the unesecerry crap I have in my pockets. A high shot count that a regulated precharged and bottle offers is more than enough for a mooch out. But there are some cracking springers out there
  14. A day trip planned to Norfolk then!?
  15. Watch this space. There will be more. Cheers. Atb
  16. All sorted for takers mate. I have a couple of game dealers that will take them, but I'm just struggling for time to get them prepped and delivered. That's why my offer was for someone local for free. Thanks buddy.
  17. That tallys to a straight 70 over 2 nights.
  18. Had another couple of hours out tonight. This time with no scope or wiring issues. However, the night was very still and bright which was making the rabbits a little nervy and reluctant to wander far from the safety of the hedges. Did the round just the once as to not spook what was out too much with the lamp. There is always another day. Ended with a not to be sniffed at 27.
  19. Probably so but around a century ago molecatchers were employed full time by the local parish councils. I once found the minuets and ledger from a council meeting from the early 1900's online somewhere. The molecatcher was shown to receive a regular wage but ended up getting sacked for having a drink problem. Lol. If I can find it again I will pop it up. Just found another snipet from a bit earlier; The endless capacity of small communities like Sutton to almost literally ‘make mountains out of molehills’ can be seen in the following extract taken from The Township Accounts Book
  20. Read the product label and dosage instructions joe. I just applied one pump to the back of the neck. Never had any bother.
  21. Just a heads up. If you are planning to throw the carrier over your shoulder FULLY loaded, then take a piece of pipe lagging with you. With all the weight it digs in a little Absolutely spot on to keep your hands free and handles well with the weight.
  22. Cheers stu. You know you are carrying it when fully loaded.
