Don't measure by weight unless the timber is bone dry and seasoned. Use volume. A large builders sack is just shy of a cube. Should be able to work it out

Stack it and throw a board or sheet over the top but allow air to come through the stack. I can have beech bone dry in a few month from felling.

I don't know what's out there at the moment but I use a fixed x6 mag redfield and it's a darling. Albeit has some age to it but I have seen them go for as little as 100 to 150 on the bay A nice piece of glass IMO And comfortably achieve the ranges you want. Day and night

I wouldn't have thought so. If it's shooting ok then don't fix it. It's when you start to pull it in bits that problems usually arise but nothing worth loosing sleep over. Back to your original post. I would have it over a chrono first off

I'm not moaning mukka I just think there shite. I have a brand fire sports HD here. Mounted it once then put it straight back in the box. Rubbish!! thats why theres no 'grading system' if there was you just wouldnt buy it without a push lol
