It's not impossible for someone else to lamp for you but much better if your in control with a scope mounted lamp. More so when using a red or filtered light. Eye shine can be thrown at different angles. So although your mate in charge of the lamp can see the target. You may not be able to.

Had a trip out to one of the local golf courses to have a look over the rabbits. Over the past years the numbers have been very thin on the ground and it usually takes a couple of visits to keep them in check. This year the numbers have increased on the course due to a new adjacent housing development, which has forced them to shift on. I knew it was forecast to rain and it started a slow drizzle as I mounted and zeroed the pulsar. Got to the course and by this time the rain was driving down which meant I only really had a couple directions to shoot without the lenses getting soaked. M

To be honest mate I wouldn't know. Never having owned a HP. Usually you have to compromise overall storage memory for a better processor and higher ram. Or vice versa. In this case you have best of both worlds. They are not too bad but get a little confusing at times and to be fair I tend to just use the keyboard. Handy for scrolling and you also have the benefit of quick zoom with your fingers. The windows 8.1 os takes a little getting used to but it ain't that bad. I have a sony vaio with the I5 processor so it's fairly fast. I wouldn't recommend anything lower.
