    The ret on my simmons WTC broke not so long back. This scope however, comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Which Bushnell are honouring. The likelyhood is that a replacement Bushnell scope will be offered as opposed to a repair. I have had very little to do with Bushnell optics so what are they like? I would hope the replacement scope is of a similar spec and to the value of what I paid back in the day for the WTC. 3.5-10x50 and around the £250ish mark. Any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks

    18ft/lb perhaps in .177 but with which pellet? And up to what range? 30-40ft/lb not in .177 and not a springer. Air rifle for small boar and deer? I thought that across the pond!! You had access to real guns!? What's the norm?

    I couldn't think of a more useless tool to take ferreting, other than a socket set and a spirit level. Not when you have the use of locators. I have mine for other uses......... So who's first!!

    Its your responsibility so I would say yes. In regards to older models, it is possible that they could be fettled up and down to ensure you stayed on the right side of the law They then became factory set and anti tamper introduced

    Yes. you have to cover yourself in all instances. If you end up having your gun confiscated and tested you wont know what pellet that will be used

    I personally didn't administer an injection. It was done by a vet. I'm not sure what the AI was, as different ones have been used, but it's basically an overdose of anesthetic. I can hear the cash register, going kerching, so I'll elaborate. My question was more out of interest chris than it ever becoming a cash cow. I catch moles amongst other things so im loaded I don't think its as clear cut as that and do you have a population of barn owls in Shropshire?     A point blank shot is fine as the projectile is already at its optimum speed. Shot placement is more important depending on the tool used.

    What is the LD injection chris? And can the average joe get access to it? I'm also assuming that the use of cage combs corner any caged moggy whilst you administer or are we talking a more hands on approach?
